      Gary Seven lived on an alien planet where they practice genetic engineering without the thorny issue of with great ability comes great ego, aka Kahn Syndrome. It had to be genetically done and also condition out of him so he was genetically engineered to be polite and respectful.
      What they did not know was Gary Seven was also from the future. How else did he know that Vulcans did not co-mingle with humans in that time period? He knew everything and was just playing along.
      The one thing he says is I am from this time period and you are not. That suggests he was plucked out of time and sent back. It's also quite possible that Gary Seven lived into the distant future living years past ToS and into a period of TNG. The aliens would have had technology to keep him alive as well as his natural mutant ability to just live longer.

    • @MisterMarin
      @MisterMarin 2 месяца назад +3

      @@joeboxter3635 His last name, Seven, puzzles me. Is it a last name or a numerical designation that doubles as a last name? Does that mean there were six more "Garys" before him? Gary One, Gary Two, Gary Three, Gary Four, Gary Five and Gary Six, like the Weyouns? 🤔

    • @joeboxter3635

      @@MisterMarinInteresting ... Yes. Gene had a thing for aliens who mucked around human history. It's a theme he followed in Questor Tapes. Questor was a series of android models. So, you make a good point. Like Questor, Gary could have been the seventh generation.
      Oh btw, @1:08 Scotty says he could have come back great distances or he could have even come back in time.
      As crazy as this sounds you have to wonder if Gene met an alien from the future. Maybe the ST history of earth was the real time line and the aliens stopped it so we did not have WW3. Lol.

    Failed back door pilot that could have been interesting. As a side note, this was to be Terri Garr's big break. She could have been the female lead in a network TV show.
    Garr never had anything nice to say about her "Star Trek" experience. In fact, she refused to talk about it all. Rumor has the reason as being Roddenberry's casting couch chicanery. Hound dog Gene was famous for stuff like that. I think he made Garr jump through a lot of hoops and then the series didn't sell. So she was sour on the whole thing.
