I lost the joy of my life a little over 4 years ago. She was my high school sweet heart and we somehow managed to make our way through this crazy world for 25-yrs together, until the good Lord called her home at the early age of 43. This was one of our favorite songs (John Fogerty's version). I never knew this cover existed until today. Thanks for not wrecking it and ruining a song that always puts a smile on my face when I hear it. Awesome version Chris! She would've loved it...

Daddy had cancer toward the end and he fought to the bitter end. He won and the cancer was in remission. Unfortunately he is gone now. I only tell you this because I want you to remember it is possible to win the fight. With best wishes and all thoughts for your fight, best of luck and enjoy every single moment.

Asked my grandfather to send me a sign, he passed away eleven months ago. I turned on the radio and the chorus of this song was playing, I had never heard it until now and had to look it up. I once told her that she is the reason God put me here. A grandfather's love is special when he has a wonderful granddaughter like your grandfather and I have. Children have a way of doing this. My Grandfather and My Dad were like this about my 3 sons. Four generations of us men together was beautiful. Sadly Pop and Grandpa have passed. They were blessings and joys of my life.

I love how positive and caring each and every Chris Stapleton fan is in all his comment sections. This is how we as people need to treat each other everyday In all situation throughout life. Music is the best blessing (in my opinion) bestowed upon us. Music Bridges All gaps and knows not color or creed, it is the one thing that can bring together people from all walks of life and all ages and have them treating each other in the best ways. Furthermore this man singing this song certainly brings people together from the most varied backgrounds and demographics yet always seems to bring the best out in people in these comments sections which are notoriously filled with people fighting and putting each other down. It's so beautiful to me to see this kind of interaction between people with no hate, or animosity. I have seen Chris Stapleton twice. The man is amazing in person. He is content to sit stage with just a guitar. He just plays, him and his guitar. He did bring out his wife the first time I saw him in 17.
The anesthesiologist plays music during surgeries at the patient's request our son 💙 was born to TN Whiskey. Chris Stapleton Pandora station played every artist except CS. But when they were pulling him out CS came on ... all doctors and nurses including my husband were singing great moment!!!...#JoyofmyLife

Whenever, I hear Chris Stapleton's voice I stop breathing I love his voice and can't get enough of him.
This may seem silly to some; I know this song is about love, your soulmate, etc. It means that to me, but I always think of my cat, Bogey, that we had to help cross over the rainbow bridge in March 2021(feline leukemia) He enjoyed music, my terrible singing. 🤷🏼♀️ On the drive to the vet, we played this album in the car, knowing it was soothing music. This song came on and I almost needed to pull over to hold back tears, as I'm trying to now as well - because he was such a joy in my life to have for only 7 years. After he passed, we continued the rest of the album, and then Maggie's Song played - and, oh did I ever break down and cry. Chris Stapleton is such an amazing musician. I'm so thankful for his talent. Broken Halos is another one that gets me. Songs that make you smile, cry, remember all the joys of life of loved ones we have, or have no more. ♥️
