Back when I was a child Ms. Lou was best comedian in Jamaica. She was like family to most of us because she always tried to keep us happily laughing. She was one of the best thing that happened to Jamaica during that time. She is surely missed by most of us who knew her.

I born come see miss Lou as they affectionately called her, she was very versatile. I been watching and listening to miss Lou all my life, every Saturday morning ring ding was very popular on JBC TV back in the days. All now I cannot see one of Jamaica 🇯🇲 women to compared with me Lou,she was very , very out standing. She is certainly missed as Jamaican female icon, she should be a national hero.I did some research and found out that miss Lou also my father, was born in the same year and same month but different days.

My muse, Miss Lou - ancestral symbol of wisdom, wit, excellence! Mother of Jamaican culture, pioneering folklorist, nation builder, community and youth developer through the arts! A one of a kind beautiful lady who inspired us to be our best self! Her infectious laughter and magnetic personality drew in! Glad to have met her on Ring Ding. She definitely is a trailblazer for carrying our culture and language to the international stage, allowing some many famous artists to leave their mark because Miss Lou made our Patois respectable. We have this beautiful legacy from Miss Lou who as an ethnographer, preserved and documented our rich culture! We are now custodians - a fi wi langwij, a fi wi culcha! Love Mother Lou! Quintessential human being! Waak gud Miss Lou!
