You will still be able to register it but if you can ask the seller this question then ask [has he/she cleared it from their network account], make sure that they do that vital part so you don't have an issue getting pass registering it to your network provider.

Is this better than your mesh ? Also , can this be used as a stand alone modem for a mesh system?
I am going to make a video about the equipment hopefully this week and couple issues I run into in regards to your question.
Short answer is no, it has a lot of positive things tho but the way I want to use the unit isn't working.
I'll explain everything in full details so post any other questions you may have so I may cover them as well.
