For the past many years I have been listening to your academic discussion and interviews and am greatly inspired by Your knowledge and understanding of the current regional and international politics. Your analysis in the context of past history and role of the big powers of today is great. Let me say great salute to you and proud of you.
Afrasiyab Khattak is a down to earth person.
From 2013-19 I learned directly from him. I feel immensely honoured and thrilled to have been his student.
He is a voracious reader. Apart from politics, his grip on literature, physics, history and astronomy is unmatched. He speaks more than 6,7 languages.

جب ای این پی کہ حکومت ائیا تو فوج نے ٹارگٹ کیلنگ میں دھماکوں میں ٹارگٹ کرتے تھے ای این پی لیڈر شپ کو اس میں ای این پی کے چھ سو لیڈر شھید ہوئے لیکن اس کے باجود ای این پی نے پختون خواہ میں چودہ یونیورسٹی اور بی شمار کالج پورے مردان کو اباد کیا سوات کہ اپریشن کیا جس میں سب سے کم نقصان ہوا لوگ واپس پور امن واپس گھر چلے گئے باقی اپریشن کے لوگ ابھ تک ذلیل ہوتے ہے بغیر کوئی نقصان سوات سے طالبان کو نکال دیا
بہت اچھا تاریخی حقیقی پس منظر اور پروگرام۔فکر پسندوں کو سننا چاھئے۔

Good work madam, ..not because apparently it seems anti-establishment and for that might suit the point of view of few ...( the establishment would do itself great service, by listening to the interview).... But because its a brave, unconventional discussion with facts and books quoted by afrashiyab saab to support his argument..
By nurturing such rational debate and heeding to the emergant consensus of opinion you can build a peaceful prosperous and cosmopolitan society...it would do good to the entire neighborhood and in the long run to the "establishment" too..... expect more such from you and team.

"The Great Game." Response to the imperial powers of Russia and England? What was the game plan of Afghans? What was the game plan of Pakistan? Did Afghans recognize the importance of creating a state with political institutions? England is an island nation. The host has referred to the word "History." Did Afghans take the time to study the rise of England via studying history? Did they study ideas that came with the world of Enlightenment. The idea of "freedom" in the context of their history. The ideas put forward by philosophers like Thomas Hobbes and John Locke. Did they understand the importance of setting up learning institutions? Building schools and colleges with the idea of excellence. On all scores, both Afghanistan and Pakistan proved to be an abject failure. Failure. Failure. Failure. Pakistan is military state within a state. It's a bankrupt state. They go to I.M.F to borrow just to pay off the debt. Studying history? Yes, with a head resting over the shoulder. Both Afghanistan and Pakistan are headless.

The easiest thing is to blame "others" for failures. One should introspect to find the causes of failures, which no one is doing. everyone knows west or other's have vested interests to creat and maintain uncertainitity and instability. It the failure of leadership if they don't find solutions.
