Oh man! I started to do this, as I accidentally dropped my wife's keys the blade snapped, so I bought an aftermarket key. The blade spring button is a different size, the original key has a larger hole, and the aftermarket key blade did not come out of the base, despite no locking pin! So I took another old key and broke that down, retrieved the keyblade with button and spring, and attempted to add to the aftermarket key case, only to find the button did not fit. I drilled the hole out The spring has a little point that grabs the plastic in order to hold tension, this was too long so I cut 1 mm off which fitted snuggly. Reassembled the key and boom! It works.. Sorry if my writing is bad lol

Thank you sir will try this tomorrow! My boss's key fell off when i was driving the van and i need to fix it lol
It is easier using a small vise, thanks for the tip.
Where do I get the correct pin?
Thanks!
Not the way I would do it
You are damaging the plastic
But why do that?
you might want to change your fob holder, but of course keep the key
I got the point 😝😁
Change it with a key of golf 7 like mine
