Sadly, one of the worst selling games in the franchise. CRIMINALLY underrated and overlooked. You know what other amazing games didn't sell well compared to their predecessors? Street Fighter III: Third Strike and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (I'd like to point out that Xrd is actually the third entry in the GGX series, why is it always threes?) My point is some masterpieces are treated unfairly at first and I hope this update update breathes new life into this game!
Sol has no Sidewinder and Jam seems to play different (after I just started learning her on ACPR) so I guess I gotta find a new new main now Btw fantastic content as always
Outside of sidewinder Sol stayed mostly the same, except DI actually being strong and break being very funny. Damage is pretty much the same, except converting midscreen is trickier
Xrd and Plus R are always more entertaining to both play and watch than Strive. It just feels like anything can happen. So glad that both have rollback now even though I suck at both, they are just so much fun.

I'd play but strive is easier and there is more players around my skill level. Getting destroyed by players every game is not the least bit enjoyable lol. But glad for the players who can play it.
i'd still recommend you try it. Due to the update i've been seeing a lot more new players, and tbh i feel like the hype around the difficulty is kinda overblown(don't get me wrong the game is harder than strive, but it's by no means impossible, i'd say that the increase is like going from dark souls 1 to the dlc, sure it's harder but by no means insurmountable) there's no harm in trying another great game imo.
I wish there was a way to make ky's hair be untied since round start. Also holy orders lll should be selectable Btw condenation wings is really good. Makes me wish tsubaki was an actual character LMAO.
I literally just got it on steam and I'm using a switch pro controller and it's working but something feels...off. I've never played fighting games and just wanted to know if my guy should be jumping every which way just at the touch of the left analog stick?

Xrd feels like an expanded #Reload so I like it (hate sol gv in xrd tho). Also the artstyle is great. Very cool game

You might have some stick drift. You can set deadzones in the steam controller settings which would help

Gotta get close and 6 or 4 H. Grab is the fastest thing at frame 0 so you can't run up and meaty or you'll get grabbed
