    If you don’t want your friends and family to form negative opinions about who you are with don’t go running to them in tears every time they make you cry.
    It’s a lot easier to forgive someone who hurts you than it is for to forgive someone for hurting someone you love.
    It’s a lot easier to look past the continue disrespect of yourself than it is to look past the continual disrespect of someone you love.
    Humans are simply better at protecting and loving other people than we are at protecting and loving ourselves.

      True it’s constantly annoying that two people who aren’t meant to be together, get together share their problems to friends, break up, cry and then start over again. Friends and family end up being in the relationship when they shouldn’t have to.

    Ollie is just looking out for his friend Liv. He is right to be concerned, as Liv and Testy Tristan have been on and off for a year! Liv has been in tears over Testy in every ep of this series!! This relationship won't last, and Liv will regret going back.

    I get them both but I think they’re both going about it quite badly. Ollie is taking on this issue too dearly when we all know there’s no getting in someone’s way when they’re in love, they’ll learn on their own. Liv is expecting constant pity and coddling but if that was her loved one miserable with their bf, she would understand it a lot differently so she didn’t need to say that to Ollie, it’s a bit manipulative..

    Liv is very immature and toxic at times. Her relationships won’t ever work out until she does work on herself. It’s all very dramatic, she doesn’t treat people great, and her friends condone her behaviour & coddle her which leads to this.

    Liv has a few toxic behaviours, and her friends, especially Ollie have coddled her for too long and now believe their opinions are enough to control her actions. She should stop running to them with her problems with Tristan and her friends need to let her make her own mistakes. Neither side should be surprised by each’s entitlement

  • @juliaoko2208

    I thought what Liv said to Ollie about having other friends was so crass. She clearly hurt his feelings and given their friendship history I was expecting her to be a lot more sensitive towards Ollie. Ollie should stop caring and take a step back from Olivia and all she wants.

    Toxic liv strikes again.... It's always everyone else's fault and not her own. They support her when she's upset and hurting but also want them to support her when she chooses to go back to the person who hurt her and expect her friends not to have an opinion after involving them to the point where they have there own opinion. Sometimes she's amazing but when it comes to these types of situations which she often finds herself in (common denominator) she's completely selfish.

Then at the same time she is obsessed with Tristan because she knows he is a good guy who hasn't done much to hurt her. People need to wake up to her manipulation and see that she is the problem. This is exactly the same patter she used whe dating Digby, another really nice guy.

    It looks like she has trouble loving herself and don’t know why but it seems she has nothing to do in her life so she can’t keep herself busy and runs back and forth to a relationship she knows it doesn’t work. She can’t deal with breakups on her own so she runs to her friends badmouthing the guy and then gets crossed with them for not liking him when she runs back to them.. I really think she should go to therapy , but she probably sees that like something negative like most of the society instead of a help for your mental health, even more when you’re in the public eye…

    Is this the same Liv who paired up with that Canadian girl to 'take down Tristan'? The same Liv who was supposedly furious about being lied to? The one who dramatically threw her silver necklace, claiming she wanted diamonds? Did Tristan give her diamonds to get her to forsake what's left of her dignity and crawl back to him, or was she just plain desperate for this mirage of a relationship? The fact that all of her friends are more concerned about the effect of her decision than she is shows that her decision-making is the problem. But she won't see it until it's too late, only to then demand support from the same friends she ignored.

  • @DavidJohnson-dc8lu

    This show is just funny, it makes me laugh. There are TV shows that could base some of their scripts on this show and be well entertaining. Liv is like a Lion she marks her territory real hard. Yes, she sabotaged Tristin and the Canadian girl's relationship to get him back. I am sure Liv will break up with Tristin again, go crying to her friends and then will repeat the sabotaging once he tries to move on. lol

    Liv is a grown woman who can make her own decisions, however if her friends have to be the ones to listen to the fallout, be there for her physically and emotionally everytime then they are entitled to say I can't do this again.
    She has to realise that as a grown up you need to deal with conflict in a relationship without involving your whole friendship group. People have rows and mess up but you need to be emotionally mature enough to deal, and unfortunately she isn't.

    • @Musicienne-DAB1995
      @Musicienne-DAB1995 2 года назад

      This is more than a standard conflict. If Ollie is saying that Tristan keeps making her cry (which she did not deny), then she is insane for going back to him.

    • @joannestjohntipp
      @joannestjohntipp 2 года назад

      @@Musicienne-DAB1995 yes that's true but any prior relationship has followed the same pattern of involving everyone in any argument or conflict to back her up. She needs a bunch of people to back her up in a conflict but then goes and repeats it all again. She only wants one dimensional people who agree with her, back her and are there for her.

    Eventually she will realise Sometimes love just ain't enough
    then its easier to walk with head held high and self respect

      'there's nothing more powerful than when a female realises her self worth and walks away'
      Um sorry, but in this situation, walks away from what? They've both admitted to wrongdoing when they were together so your comment is irrelevant on that level. And when Tristan hooked up with the other blonde, he was single and entitled to do whatever he wanted. Yeah he lied and I don't respect that but he didn't owe anyone the truth. So if you can explain why you're comment makes out as though Tristan was a massive monster and she needs to be saved from him, I'd be grateful. Seeing as she's now gone back I think you'll find that hard to justify

    If those two (olly and partner) are going to be parents, they need to learn more about unconditional love and respecting individual choice even when they disagree with it. The idea that you can or should micromanage someone else's choice of romantic partner is so lacking in awareness and respect for appropriate boundaries. We learn through our own choices, not by judgement and micromanagement. I see this as unconscious narcissism, even if your desire is to protect a person, this approach is totally flawed.

    There is a pattern on Made in Chelsea (and in the real world if you are paying attention) - those women who think it's clever to go around sleeping with the whole city, women like SOPHIE HERMAN and LIV BENTLEY, talking about "strong independence" and sleeping with every man to prove it. Look at them now. One is securely in her 30s still unable to find "the one", the other is approaching her 30s a broken mess.

      Certainly in the UK & Ireland the pool of good men seems to dwindling, MiC is a just a show but even as a microcosm- how many times does the issue of prioritising partying over literally everything come up, how often does the issues of dishonesty & cheating come up?
      Are you mourning the submissive woman who just puts up with all of that & sets her bar that low?? Is that the problem?

      I am in my early 30s, I am not married. I have friends of a similar age also not married. Your 30s is only your 2nd decade of your adult life, with people living longer I think it is now unrealistic to have found "the one" (which unfortunately I also dont believe in anymore) by the time you turn 30. Even if you have there is no guarantee you will stay together, we see it every day people divorcing who have been married 5, 10, 20 years even... Sophie seemed really happy with Tom, im sure if whatever broke down between the two of them hadnt she would have said "yes" if he had proposed, I dont think you should be judging her or women like her (like me 😄). I have tried damned hard to make relationships work in the past and they just haven't.
