    I've also had one surgically removed. The Derm finally allowed me to remove it surgically. What is so weird, is that I can still feel itching underneath the scar....but since there is no longer a dry crusty sore there, I don't scratch or pick at anything. But, I do get that tingly feeling every once in a while..... which means the cause of the tingles is way under the top surface of the skin.

    100% my PN goes away when I'm outside.. for sure light changes it. Also, I have had help with freezing them. BUT, I have to go back within 3 to 4 weeks and freeze them AT LEAST 4 times. By the 4th time, they don't come back. Unfortunately, new Derm doctors give me such a RIDICULOUSLY hard time about freezing them. Have NO IDEA what the big deal is. Being on top of the freezing sessions 100% makes them go away..... but, no, freezing 1 or 2 times.... is pointless.

    I've just been diagnosed via biopsy. I don't have extreme itching. I'm still trying to understand. My issues are the sore's on my head, face and legs. My dermatologist said overproducing of collagen. I will have the hard white Pebble substance. I don't know how to be treated for that!

    About 3 years ago I had PN due to a mosquito bite that turned into PN. I cured it. My dermatologist did a biopsy and they shaved off the entire mosquito bite area and it never itched again after that. HOWEVER, I recently got another mosquito bite that turned into PN. Do I have to get it shaved off every time? There’s got to be another way. I’ve tried freezing it off with a wart remover, but it did not work. Can anyone please share their cure?

      I had one on my chest. Would not heal. I put a piece of cotton ball under a band aid and wet it with white vinegar. I wet it 2-4 times a day. I put a new band aid and cotton ball every night after a shower. I took about 6 days but it killed the sore. I then put 3 in 1 antibiotic sav on it. Healed back fine with no more itching on that one. I now have PN all over my body. I started drinking apple cider vinegar last night. Drinking it 2 times a day. 24 hours late, no result. I will continue for a week and see if it helps. Lord bless and be with you.

    I would hate cortisone injections I don't even like the pills and avoid them if I can even if it prolongs the treatment. The pills also put on weight which I definitely don't need. I had never heard of that disease before, so I was very interested in your explanation. It's quite frightening to know that so many things can go wrong with our body, but I guess we just to accept it when things go wrong. What's really scary is,when the Dr doesn't know what is wrong 🤔 😳 😁

      Yes! I have been suffering from it for three years now but have had severe heart failure, heart disease and cardiomyopathy since having pre-eclampsia at 30 years age with my third and last child and she was born early a month emergency c section she was killing us both and my heart never bounced back but I have a defib and pacemaker along with at least 5 different heart medications entresto being one of them and have taken a constant long term high diaretic which now I have to take potassium too bc of the long-term use of the diaretic but my CHF over time now 38 years old has had its impact on developing a weaken immune system too and as for why I have for the past three years developed this and for me it has been more severe with a lot of scarring and alot of pain and discomfort and also what it does to your self confidence for someone who has always had clear skin a zit was always maybe 2 times a year maybe three blackheads never any acne my whole life and as for how it started with my arms then my face then my legs and even my abdomen and the. Worst place of all I feel and hardest to rid of it from and also where it is most intense as for itch and need to scratch bc of it, is my SCALP its causing me hair loss as well as damage to even my hair and it's follicles and what determines greatly how your hair strands remain and or stay healthy comes from the follicle itself! Steroids made it worse when it was on my scalp but as for arms legs and face it did much more justice as for getting the scabs to heal and not have more blisters or bumps appear when you just got the ones to finally heal and clear up but the high does of steroid for a weeks use always causes me to gain at least 10 to 15 pounds easily and in such short time to where I had to finally seek out one of the best and highest MD dermatologist in another state! Cause the few other dermatologist or even primary doctors that were what it seemed to be like first broad category diagnosis for skin issues and conditions and their treatments were basically your easy go to lowest and under aggressive response to that of cortisone cream which idk why any doctor that knows or in the know will tell u that the cream cortisone is a joke and would get better use if it were to be looked at as a lotion without its fragrance cause it does nothing! Lmao. Or a low dose of antibiotics that didn't do anything. Until finally a strong steroid cream was prescribed along with steroids but that's when it started to heal my arms face legs and abdomen but then created a whole new intense and worsining outbreak for the first time in the three years of trying to deal with this and get an accurate sure diagnosis and treatment to even start the steroid caused my scalp to start to have it and break out and itches severely and cause headaches even diarrhea I believe too and the healing let alone how much more worse the blisters and the depth of them are to happen! Now I am diagnosed correctly and not having to take as steroids pills bc they causew severe weight gain as well which only adds more to what I have to deal with when it comes to congestive heart failure and heart disease. But duprexit as an anti inflammatory has finally allowed for me to have clearer skiing on my arms face and legs and abdomen for the first time in three years and healing and no other multiple break outs as for what before seemed like just as one spot or area for blisters and itchy bumps were finally healed and gone another was happening else where on the body part just different area or other past areas that healed on thier own but severely scared there too!

    Thanks for this video! Couple questions: what is the difference between getting phototherapy sessions at a clinic and going outside for some natural sunlight for PN? Also, does phototherapy make existing PN scars darker?

    • @DrMudgil
      @DrMudgil  2 года назад +2

      Great questions! Phototherapy is MUCH safer than natural sunlight. NB UVB phototherapy bulbs emit a narrow sliver of the UV spectrum, which is very safe. Sunlight is broad-spectrum UV, which causes a whole host of potential issues including skin cancer. Phototherapy will not make the PN scars darker, but one's skin will tan overall.

      Horrendous bouts of itching 😫 have ✋️ me in my tracks. Woman, 72 / MS & fused spine age 12 for scoliosis. Researching but meanwhile must MAKE IT STOP! helps to ME include SEA BREEZE original formula (yellow) astringent for scalp particularly. Prescription ATARAX 25mg starting level (generic hydroxizine) has worked since 1964 when in body cast after spinal fusion. Hugely negative quality of life issue. Blessings & calming 😌 to all 🕊
