10:13 they've actually spoken on that before! They mention that multiple choreographers often send them drafts and Lee Know and sometimes Hyunjin as well take pieces of some and pit it together and further refine it (not all the time though!)
i appreciate that you touched on the controversy. i'm not a stay or black (though i am from la and i'm familiar with the controversial aspect), so i've been watching this all go down from the sidelines. just from what i've heard about the situation, i worry about how the company has handled it (by editing out the mention of it in one of the behind the scenes videos where they directly cite the inspiration), and the fan reactions have been... varied... between black and nonblack fans.
