The yellow does look difficult. Really enjoy your videos. Don’t have any puzzling friends! My largest is 1000 pieces- think I need a bigger puzzling space! 🤣
I think you are one of a few RUclipsrs who puts so much work in one video, building the puzzle, editing. You are just amazing! I'm sad that you are not getting the recognition you deserve
I've just done 1000 piece gradient jigsaw last night. It took me about 3h40m and I found the YELLOW section to be the hardest. I got mine from a charity shop and alas two pieces are missing. I sent a link to an advert for the 2000 piece version to my brother if he hasn't already bought me something for Christmas. The largest I've done in a day is 1000 pieces. I've done about six 2000 piecers in my life. I own a 3000 piece one but have kept procrastinating on it. I've watched quite a few of your videos including the life puzzle series and really enjoy them. I'm off work with a broken leg, hopefully only another two weeks and rediscovered one of my hobbies. You've inspired me to challenge myself even more
I've never done a gradient puzzle but I can see how the yellow section might be the trickiest! I really love not only how skilled you are at doing puzzles but also how much care you take with the visuals, each video is like a little jewel, especially these gradient ones. :) It's like doing a puzzle vicariously since I don't have the cat-free space to do them myself!
i think its so amazing that you can do this in one day It took me 3 days to complete a 350 piece puzzle. Truly amazing. Side Note: I have perfect color vision as well!
I made street of Paris puzzle - mostly green and bit of Yellow in it. I like to take my time to do a puzzle. Never did I attempt to make gradient ones- you never know, you got me excited about trying it for sure. Thank you Karen for all your videos. I am so glad I know about you. 🥰🌹 happy puzzling 🤔
I’m happy that I stumbled across your channel. Gradient puzzles make me so happy. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 I love how you just drink it in and enjoy the colors. I do the same. 😍🥰 I bought the 1000 pieces and the green/yellow section def was the toughest for me too. I started with the deep purples and worked counter clockwise so it was satisfying to have the rough section in the middle of my puzzling and then to finish with the pinks.
I ordered the 1000 piece version in March after seeing your video and last week it finally arrived and I'm looking forward to doing it. The 2000 piece one looks just as beautiful :)
Do you know any small 500 piece gradient puzzles? Now I want to do a small gradient puzzle, you have inspired me! I just found your channel and am now binge watching, thank you so much for making these videos, and having fun while you do them
I just accidentally discovered this channel and I absolutely love your enthusiasm, Karen! The way you talk about puzzles is just soooo pleasant to hear and made me smile!! Can't wait to see the rest of your videos and looking forward to the new one! ❤️ ❤️
Yellow: definitely agree with you on which section was the hardest. My 1,000 gradient is the same standard pieces just like you 2,000. Interesting. Definitely want this puzzle. Thanks for the awesome video.
I just finished the 1000 piece gradient version of this puzzle and then came and watched this video!! I just wanted to say that the 1000 piece version that I have has the same piece shapes as your 2000 piece version and there were a few times where I had to move small sections that I had put in the wrong place. I’m thinking that they changed the way they cut the puzzles since you got your original 1000 piece version! I still absolutely love mine though! Oh and I was flying through the puzzle and then the yellow corner brought me to a grinding halt it was so tough 😂 (Also I have completed 7 puzzles in the past 2 months and it’s all thanks to your channel that I’m hooked)
I always look forward to your videos!!!!! And even though the green-yellow quadrant was more difficult for you, i especially enjoyed watching this part of the video since yellow is a favorite color of mine, and yellow also reminds me of your sunny outlook. Thank you for adding some yellow sunshine to my day today!!!!!!
Omg! You just brought me so much peace! I also did this puzzle and I was getting crazy in the yellow corner and thinking there was something wrong with me! Love your video thanks
I'd just like to say thanks to you. Watching your videos, I got into puzzles again (I used to do some I'm my early teens). I think 500 piece Eiffel tower puzzle was the biggest I did in one day. I'll try to do a 1000 piece puzzle too someday and I really want to do a gradient puzzle, it looks so satisfying (It's hard to get one in India though) Funny thing, I was actually listening to Yellow by Coldplay when you uploaded this video💛😅
The 1000 piece version of this is my absolute favorite puzzle I’ve ever done. I had the same issue with the green corner! And I also had the issue with the top layer of some of my pieces coming up when I had to separate pieces that I mistakenly put in the wrong place. But it’s still my favorite. I took the color vision test and I got a perfect score too so maybe that’s why I love it so much. 😍
Oh hey, I was just showing my wife your video on doing the 4 day 5000 piece gradient puzzle a few hours ago, so it's pretty cool to be surprised with another video soon after!
This is gorgeous even though it has a decent amount of yellow (probably my least favourite colour). I love your positivity, joy, and approach. Love your videos. Thanks x 🧩
I don't usually have a big block of time to finish a puzzle in, I really enjoy the puzzling process. I have just finished a gradient puzzle, and struggled the most with the red, orange and yellow pieces, it was the most difficult puzzle I have done, but it was so fun! Great video as always Karen, you are really the speed-queen with gradients! X
Yellow!!! Love you girl. I never completed a puzzle in 1 day. Buutttttt I finished my first puzzle in 3 days the weekend. I divided to sort like you go by colors and I have to say I am now a sorting believer!!!
That is awesome - nice way to leave the YELLOW for last. I am doing a color(ish) puzzle myself now and currently stuck on the orange section. It was my first attempt but since it has a heart with the words love all over, the color and words make it a little less intimidating.
I love cloudberries gradient puzzles! I think the green (yellow) is the hardest part also! I am currently working on cloudberries Fauna puzzle and I love it. The largest puzzle I’ve done in a day was 1500 pieces. My daughter and I just finished a 3000 piece ravensburger puzzle of VW buses yesterday. That was super fun!
I did the thousand piece version a few months ago and I did it in the same order that you did this one as I too found the right hand side and especially that top corner less straight forward than the rest of the puzzle. I didn't rush but took my time and I found it quite restful and therapeutic.
Hi, I am watching in October 2020. I finished a 300 piece puzzle earlier today in 2 hours/31 seconds. Karen, you would have finished it in less than an hour. LOL. I glue all the puzzles I have recently done, as I am not sure that I would do them again. Also, they are my bulletin board/wall art in my classroom. Love your videos!
Yellow! I don't think I've ever completed a non-children's puzzle in one day lol. I recently did most of 550 piece one in a day though. And I'm super excited because my husband went out to a thrift store the other day and found me a White Mountain Puzzles puzzle of a collage of beer bottles! It was one I was actually looking at on their webiste but they've been out of stock of a lot of stuff lately. And with the price and shipping and currency exchange (we are in Canada) we probably saved well over $30. Yes thrift stores!
Ive done a 1000 piece in one day- I like to do them slowly- I usually have another project going at the same time. Im a retired letterpress printer- we mixed ink colors to match the pantone system everyday- after years of mixing colors I think I can say that yellow green colors are difficult colors to match and to print- they have the lightest values so they “dirty” easily . Im not sure about vision being involved with the yellow/ green section being difficult- but I certainly wouldn’t rule it out . Love your videos ❤️
The biggest puzzle Ive ever done was a White Mountain 550 piece called Gas Tanks. After working a 2000 pc puzzle, it was a piece of cake! I definitely work on puzzles as a process rather than speed. I love how much you love this puzzle!! except for the yellow parts.
I have a pot of rubber cement that I keep solely for gluing down puzzle pieces that get separated from the top OR puzzle pieces where the cardboard starts to split. I add a little bit of rubber cement, then use a chip clip or clothes pin to hold the piece together while it dries. It works really well! I've never done a puzzle with more than 1000 pieces, but I have done those in a single day. Yellow!
This vid was mellow YELLOW 🤣😂 I love watching you do these gradients puzzles. Living vicariously through you as I know this type of puzzle would be nightmarish for me lol 😂
I just did this puzzle yesterday! I absolutely loved it - but definitely slow going with the yellow! I will say it is nice that you can tell which direction the standard shaped pieces go, otherwise the yellows would have gone even slower!
Yellow! I’ve done the 1000 piece version of this and essentially did it in the same order you did this puzzle. The yellow corner was definitely the hardest part for me as well.
I enjoy the puzzle destruction at the end of your videos - particularly in reverse. Do you find that disassembling the puzzle that way damages the pieces?
Just a recommendation but you should upload a stand alone time lapse video of every puzzle you make! Or at least the ones that have great visual appeal in your opinion. It could be a great way to attract more viewers that only want that satisfying time lapse 💖
Yellow. Cool, glad to see the enthusiasm back after the ketchup puzzle. I take my time but I think I’ve done a thousand piece in a day. Just did the test. I got a perfect score. Probably why I enjoy I Love Hue and ILH 2 - your recommendation. Thanks
Yes, the yellow section is definitely the hardest for me too! I actually have the 2000 piece puzzle to go next. I bought the 1000 piece one recently and it has the same piece shapes as the 2000 one, so I feel like cloudberries changed the cut at some point.
Beat you to this one 😊 Best puzzle ever! I loved not having to think about the picture. Instead you can just mindlessly do it, almost like a meditation. I had a different experience with the piece fit though. I thought the pieces fit very clearly and there wasnt much room to make mistakes. Maybe the difference is that I was really focused on color and not on shape. You can't quickly go wrong if you go by color. Another upside is the matt finish. I agree on the puzzle not being hard, and the green/yellow being the hardest. I actually started with the edge and then worked my way to the middle in a circular pattern. It helped me enjoy the color variation and this way I didn't get stuck on a hard area. Downsides to me were the amount of puzzle dust (also sticking to the top of the pieces, which felt a bit sticky coming out of the bag), the fact that the outside edge wasn't smoothly cut and that the pieces were very prone to staining if your hands are a little bit greasy. This turned out to be a full review 🤣 Hope it helps someone
0:29 that's the exact same thing that is happening to me right now with this educa 4000 p Mont Blanc puzzle. Some pieces have 4 pieces that could fit on the same piece, and they are all the same color. It's not fun!
Nicely done!! I couldn't do any large puzzle in one day. I also had issues with the green-yellow section and worked that last. No idea how many hours it took, but I enjoyed it. Just started a 3000 piece puzzle I found on Amazon, but it's an actual picture, and it's going to take me quite a while to finish. Good thing I like the picture, but so many colors!! And the quality is quite good, similar to Ravensburger, I think. I just wish Cloudberries' shipping wasn't so expensive, almost as much as the puzzle!!
I love that 1000 piece puzzle. Its medium difficulty and super enjoyable looking for the different shades of pieces. Super recommend this puzzle! My step mom loves 2000 piece puzzles so I might buy her the 2000 version for Christmas this year (:
Just tried that color vision test and I got perfect! Never been so proud of myself lol I've never tried a gradient puzzle before and now I wonder if I'd really like them
I ordered the Cloudberries 1000 piece gradient puzzle a few days ago and just trying to wait patiently for it to arrive. I’m so excited to get started on it
I found your channel a few months ago and I’m obsessed! This video got recommended and i had never seen a gradient puzzle before so I was curious. after watching all of your videos you inspired me to try one out, so I bought the cloudberry gradient 1000, I tried it before Christmas but had to stop after I finished sorting because Christmas was coming up so we had to use the table and also because the lighting was so bad. Now I’ve moved one of our lamps to get better lighting and I started this puzzle again. I loved it and I think I finished it in 6 hours, about three hours in to days. I’m so happy I finished, it was so much fun but omg the green/yellow part was awful, which I expected after watching your videos. But I’m so happy I finally finished it and now it will probably be on my table for a week so I can stare at it 😂 btw I didn’t sort out at first because when I did that the first time it took me too long, I was too impatient for that this time so I sorted out the colors as well as I could as I went for that specific color and it worked out great for me 😊 my next goal is to get the 1000 color puzzle which I’ve wanted ever since I came across that video of yours, so I hope to get it as a present to myself soon ☺️
I remember stumbling across the Farnsworth test online years ago and the bands of colors I had to re-arrange were much longer. Maybe they used to have the full gradients online? I'm a big fan of the "I Love Hue" game on my iPad, so that was good training for this test!
I dont know if its accurate though. I got a zero but im yellow-blue color blind. Maybe its more toward red green or i can see the shades better. I dont know
I took the color test that you listed and I scored a 2, zero would have been a perfect score. The colors that I had trouble with was in the "yellow" range:) I love your channel, Karen, keep up the good work:)
I am looking forward to doing my first gradient puzzle and based on this review, I am going to do the Cloudberries brand 1000 piece first, then I will tackle this one, too. That yellow 😉 looks hard. Congratulations on doing that in one day!!
Yellow! 😃Hi Karen, Really enjoy your videos, and great tips. Since watching your channel I can now actually do a puzzle in an evening. Sorting was the big difference.
I've never done a gradient puzzle before, but I can see how the *yellow* part would be the hardest. I'm an artist and when I'm coloring with a lot of yellow my eyes adjust to the brightness and everything else gets dark and I have to look away. It happens most often with neon yellow. As for your question, I don't have the attention span to do a puzzle in one day (ADHD brain here) so I never have. I prefer to take my time and enjoy the process anyway. Love your channel!
Soo beautiful!!!!😍 I love a good gradient from Cloudberries. If I ever do a more then 1000pc puzzle it is deffinitely going to be this one . and yes for me too the greenish-yellow section gave a bit of a headache 😊
I like doing puzzles one piece at a time. I don't sort anything and I take a piece out of the box, and using the final image on the box I find where the piece goes and place it spacially, so gradients are my hell. I like really busy textural puzzles. Right now I'm doing one of almond blossoms by Van Gogh. It's really hard, but it's super rewarding when I can see a piece in the picture
Hi Karen, a very colourful jigsaw... I especially like the yellow. I can't remember when I last did a jigsaw in one day, I now usually do half-hour stints... the one I'm doing at the moment (an "impossible" 500 piece) has taken me a frustrating week so far and is only half done... Slo I'm very impressed with your marathon puzzling.
Yellow! :). I'm pretty sure that maybe 1000 pieces is the biggest I've done in a day, but as long as we have the space, I just leave the puzzle setup and work on it as I can. Now that we don't have cats anymore we can do this, but my cats used to knock all the puzzle pieces everywhere and even knock the completed sections off the table. Now that that's not a problem anymore, once we get moved into our new house, I'm going to try to make a place to set up for puzzles.
I have had puzzles on which the top layer separated from lower on some of the tabs. I glued the top layers back down using glue on a small paint brush and let them dry before putting the puzzle away. That 'yellow' does look like a challenge, but fun.
I have the 1000 pc gradient from cloudberries. ( I actually ordered it because I was inspired by you ) I also found the yellow green section harder. It’s a beautiful puzzle and so fun to do. I’m glad I’m not just crazy and thought that maybe my yellow green color vision wasn’t as good as the other colors. But ya I’m not the only one
I did the 1000 piece version recently and the yellow corner is the hardest. The 1000 piece I did is also mostly one shape (two out two in). I actually like the design since one has to do the puzzle based on the color, instead of the shape, which to me is the whole point of a gradient puzzle. Also, the pieces are distinct enough that I am not worry about putting a piece in a wrong spot.
Hi!! I love your videos!! I have a little suggestion for your videos: maybe could you put the measurements in cm and not only inches? I'm guessing I'm not the only non-american watching your videos! :) On that note: cheers from a fan in France!!
Hello from a fellow Karen! I just recently found your channel and I’ve been enjoying listening to you while I’m puzzling! You said were so excited you said you had trouble sleeping - I love you passion! Keep being your wonderful self and a great representation of the real Karen’s! PS - Yellow.
I also find the yellow section the hardest. I feel like the pieces are more similar in shade than the pieces in the other sections. I did the Cloudberry 1000 piece one, started with pink and worked my way across the puzzle, ending with green and then yellow. Took about 2,5 hours to do cos I had good, natural light for most of the puzzling :) Definitely had to guess more on the yellow part than the other parts. Absolutely loved the experience though! Such a great puzzle!
What's the biggest puzzle that you've ever done in one day? Thank you for watching, everybody!
In 1 day probably 500 pieces puzzle
I really like your videos can you do a Mona Lisa Puzzle.
In one day 750 pieces- it was challenging 🤔🤔🤔
A 1000 piece puzzle
The yellow does look difficult. Really enjoy your videos. Don’t have any puzzling friends! My largest is 1000 pieces- think I need a bigger puzzling space! 🤣
I think you are one of a few RUclipsrs who puts so much work in one video, building the puzzle, editing. You are just amazing! I'm sad that you are not getting the recognition you deserve
She is an inspiration to us all... started my own channel because of her
It'll come with time. We're already here, aren't we? 😁 She'll gain her following.
@@SunflowerSpotlight so true... she deserves it
She is now!!! Hard work and passion pay off in the end and she is a great lesson for all of us to just keep working hard.

I've never done a puzzle in one day.
Looking forward to the next episode, where Karen mixes both gradients and completes them simultaneously.
You’re really an expert in doing puzzles. When I did just a 1000 piece puzzle I did it over several days.
My color vision is also perfect! Thanks for sharing the test link.
I love how you keep saying “look at how BEAUTIFUL it is!”
Amy Diner Yup I agree
I've never done a gradient puzzle but I can see how the yellow section might be the trickiest! I really love not only how skilled you are at doing puzzles but also how much care you take with the visuals, each video is like a little jewel, especially these gradient ones. :) It's like doing a puzzle vicariously since I don't have the cat-free space to do them myself!
My husband and I are getting into puzzling... Watching your videos is such an inspiration! You are so entertaining! Thanks for all the great videos!
i think its so amazing that you can do this in one day
It took me 3 days to complete a 350 piece puzzle.
Truly amazing.
Side Note: I have perfect color vision as well!
"Welcome back to Karen Puzzles"
Best words to hear when coming home to relax and destress 😌
I made street of Paris puzzle - mostly green and bit of Yellow in it. I like to take my time to do a puzzle. Never did I attempt to make gradient ones- you never know, you got me excited about trying it for sure. Thank you Karen for all your videos. I am so glad I know about you. 🥰🌹 happy puzzling 🤔
Your videos are so relaxing to watch. Thank you.
Because of you, I did my first gradient puzzle today and I totally loved it😍
So you're saying Heinz needs to make an all mustard "YELLOW" puzzle now?
nooooo
And a white one for Mayonnaise.
They could call it the condiments range
IndigoBoyBlue and green for relish
It could be viable if the pieces were actually unique, haha!
Jif follows suit with a peanut butter puzzle!
I bought this puzzle yesterday and im so excited to do it
I’m happy that I stumbled across your channel. Gradient puzzles make me so happy. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
I love how you just drink it in and enjoy the colors. I do the same. 😍🥰
I bought the 1000 pieces and the green/yellow section def was the toughest for me too. I started with the deep purples and worked counter clockwise so it was satisfying to have the rough section in the middle of my puzzling and then to finish with the pinks.
The edge of the puzzle hanging off the table at around 11:00 made me nervous!!
A few pieces definitely fell on the floor at some points 😂
Girl, same! 😂
Same!
I ordered the 1000 piece version in March after seeing your video and last week it finally arrived and I'm looking forward to doing it.
The 2000 piece one looks just as beautiful :)

This was the first quarantine puzzle (and first puzzle in years) that my mom and I did! It was sooooooooo satisfying! It took us 14 hours to finish!
Woaw impressive, I'm doing the 1000 piece puzzle right now really enjoying it, love the colors 😍 🌈
Yellow: definitely agree with you on which section was the hardest. My 1,000 gradient is the same standard pieces just like you 2,000. Interesting.
Definitely want this puzzle. Thanks for the awesome video.
(Yellow) I’d rather take my time with my puzzles, and I totally agree that the gradient puzzle looks beautiful and stunning!

Would be fun to try to se how I manage to puzle such a puzzle, being a bit colourblind.
I love your videos! Thank you for getting me into puzzling!!
I would love a vid where you toured a puzzle factory! It would be so cool to learn how they’re actually made.
I'd just like to say thanks to you. Watching your videos, I got into puzzles again (I used to do some I'm my early teens). I think 500 piece Eiffel tower puzzle was the biggest I did in one day. Oh, and 1000 is about my limit of difficulty. I like holiday themes and charles wysocki the most.
That is awesome - nice way to leave the YELLOW for last. I am doing a color(ish) puzzle myself now and currently stuck on the orange section. It was my first attempt but since it has a heart with the words love all over, the color and words make it a little less intimidating.

I’m working on the “Cereal box” puzzle after seeing one of your videos recently. Loving it! Gradient puzzle might just be next! Oh, and- YELLOW! ❤️

Never been so proud of myself lol
I've never tried a gradient puzzle before and now I wonder if I'd really like them
You'd probably do really well with it!
Nicely done! I agree that the "YELLOW" section would be pretty challenging.
I recently started to do a 1000 piece puzzel and I got great tips from here! Thanks
We have only done 1000 pice jigsaw puzzles Karen! This looks super challenging! Great job!
Thank you for giving us the link to do the colour test... I got a zero... wow! Didn’t expect that :)
I just made the color vision test and had a PERFECT ZERO omg so surprised
Amazing job!
Me too!!
I remember stumbling across the Farnsworth test online years ago and the bands of colors I had to re-arrange were much longer. Maybe they used to have the full gradients online? I'm a big fan of the "I Love Hue" game on my iPad, so that was good training for this test!
I just took it and i got a zero too!
I dont know if its accurate though. I got a zero but im yellow-blue color blind. Maybe its more toward red green or i can see the shades better. I dont know
I love watching you do gradient puzzles! (Yellow.)
Just did the color vision test and got 8, not a perfect score but quite proud of it!! Love u Karen😘
Karen: be careful, the puzzles peel off
Also Karen: 17:25
I've never done a gradient puzzle before, but I can see how the *yellow* part would be the hardest. I'm an artist and when I'm coloring with a lot of yellow my eyes adjust to the brightness and everything else gets dark and I have to look away. It happens most often with neon yellow.
As for your question, I don't have the attention span to do a puzzle in one day (ADHD brain here) so I never have. I prefer to take my time and enjoy the process anyway. Love your channel!
Well done!! 🟡⚠️💛✏️📒💡🎗🍯🥞🍌🍋☀️⭐️💫🌕🌼🐥🐯🐱😀
The grand and I did our first gradient. We did the gray one from areaware. Loved it. Yellow
Soo beautiful!!!!😍
I love a good gradient from Cloudberries.
Congrats on your perfect color vision, I struggle with color but Yellow is fine
Yellow! Now that that's not a problem anymore, once we get moved into our new house, I'm going to try to make a place to set up for puzzles.
this is always so satisfying
Beautiful!! And your T-Shirt is similar to the last puzzle I posted called “Cactus Family” 💕
I have had puzzles on which the top layer separated from lower on some of the tabs. I glued the top layers back down using glue on a small paint brush and let them dry before putting the puzzle away. That 'yellow' does look like a challenge, but fun.
Oh, wow. And I'm still looking for inspiration to do a 1000 pieces Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper" puzzle 😅
Great xD
I did "The Vitruvian Man" (1000 pieces samrt puzzle) and "Mona Lisa" (1000 pieces jigsaw puzzle) so far.
Have you tried doing the ensky resin puzzles? They are so pretty and see through so when done they look like stained glass
I did the 1000 piece version recently and the yellow corner is the hardest. The 1000 piece I did is also mostly one shape (two out two in). I actually like the design since one has to do the puzzle based on the color, instead of the shape, which to me is the whole point of a gradient puzzle. Also, the pieces are distinct enough that I am not worry about putting a piece in a wrong spot.
finished mine today! I also found the yellow-green bit the hardest
Hi!! I love your videos!!
I have a little suggestion for your videos: maybe could you put the measurements in cm and not only inches? I'm guessing I'm not the only non-american watching your videos! :) On that note: cheers from a fan in France!!
I put the puzzle size in centimeters and inches :)
@@KarenPuzzles Thank yellow very much! ;)
Hello from a fellow Karen! I just recently found your channel and I’ve been enjoying listening to you while I’m puzzling! You said were so excited you said you had trouble sleeping - I love you passion! Keep being your wonderful self and a great representation of the real Karen’s! PS - Yellow.
I love that you put the 1000 piece together, “just for fun”. Lol. Yellow.
