2015년 5월， 7인조 힙합 아이돌 그룹으로 데뷔한 몬스타엑스가 첫 번째 데뷔 앨범 [TRESPASS]로 가요계에 도전장을 냈다.수록곡 [솔직히 말할까]는 MELLOW－HIPHOP 장르의 곡. HOT의 ′캔디′가 모티브가 되었으며 오래된 연애에 권태를 느낀 남자의 심경을 담은 곡이다.
