I used to go through this bridge often on bicycle rides, years ago. By the way, I watch your videos all the time and I really enjoy them. I'm making a list of interesting places that you've been to in PA so I can check some of them out someday. I live near Norristown now but used to live in Chester county. Thanks for the entertainment and enlightenment!
I was at that bridge a few years ago. There are ruins in the hills above that rail trail. The name of the trail is Harmony Hill Nature Area. The trail beside the river is called the East Brandywine trail.
Yes. There are tons of ruins to check out on those trails. I was just there today. Many houses, spring houses, an old barn, an old truck, an old earthen dam, old rail bridge abutments, etc. Plus, part of t is the old trolley ROW. I love this trail.
Cliff, That is an unusual Bridge, I don't think I have seen any other with that kind of support. BY the way, that's Andrew Wyeth country, the famous artist, illustrator. The Brandywine Museum honors the different generations of Wyeths and many more of our great Illustrators. I don't know if your into that sort of thing, but it's really worth a visit. I've been there a number of times. Cheers, Rik Spector
Beautiful these bridges remind me of the little house on the prairie days.
Chester county is definitely one of the most beautiful and historic areas in the country!
Have you ever considered selling a yearly calendar with photos of these beautiful bridges in the appropriate seasons for the months?
Excellent Idea 💡

Harmony Hill Rd.? There's a road with that name back home where I grew up in IL. Nice little bridge! God Bless 🙏🙏
