9th's sampling is so good that it carries his god awful drums. This shit is dope. But it's only half a beat in my eyes. Same thing applies to like 50% of his discog. Dope producer, but not in the same league as the likes of Primo, ALC, Pete Rock etc. Hip Hop without solid drumming is meh.
