Dave, I can't tell you enough how much your videos are benefitting my life. They are truly educational and entertaining. Do many other channels are filled with people who talk the whole time without saying anything meaningful or educational. I hang on every word and I can't wait to try many of the things you demonstrate. Thanks for helping me become more capable in the wilderness!

You were built for RUclips Dave. I’m subbed and watch almost all of your videos. Reruns of Dual Survival with you and Cody and Joe and Matt are always watched if I can. I got your canteen cook kit and love using it. Taking a Pathfinder class is in my future. I just have to make time.

Dave is an OG. Staying relevant as long as he has is tough. He’s already made so many vids on the basics and to be able to still put out videos without repeating himself shows his knowledge the cooking systems the camp setups the trapping vids. The only thing I haven’t seen him do is gardening

I love my poncho liner. I use it every single day when losing on the bed streaming videos. I have had this poncho liner since sometime in the 90s. It has a few small tears that I stopped with lighter (carefully). I sewed a sleeping bag zipper in it about 20yrs ago. It finally gave away about 3 years ago. I tried making a foot box with 12 safety pins. That is ill advised as if one opens up and stabs you in the foot in hurts like the dickens. So I eventually tied a quick release overhand knot in one of the strings at the middle of both short sides so I can quickly find and orient it the way I want to use it. Which is long ways. Plenty of length to pull up to pits and lift feet to get excess folded under. Packs down small to grab and stuff in ruck on the fly. Love it. Thinking about getting another new one. I have a supplier that has been in the surplus business for at least 40 years. They have new items if you ask.

My swagman basic has been my go to the last few times I’ve been outside. It’s perfect for slightly chilly mornings and the warmer weather that comes with spring/summer. It also makes a great ground blanket when kicking back around camp.

A great new product would be a multifunctional bug net. All of the bug nets I've seen either fit around a hammock or stake out like a tent. One should be designed that would work for both ground and for hammock sleeping, it would complement the new product perfectly.

Hey, this may sound like a dumb ass question, but I assure you it's not . What trail systems have legal designated camping areas along it... Kind of like the Appalachian trail, but where you can ride ATVs.. well more like the hatfield-mccoy trails, but you're not allowed to camp along the trails.
I'm building ultra light weight off-road high-lo 4x6 trailer for back woods apocalypse camper (and fun) .. do you have any recommendations east of the Mississippi
