I’m the cleaner at a Golds Gym, there are 3 things that really piss me off that I see on a weekly basis. 1. People leaving equipment without cleaning it/putting it back. Nothing worse than seeing some big muscle guy put 135 pounds on each weight holder, push it to the point of being drenched, and then just leaving all of that shit there. Now the next poor bastard to use that machine has to clean it and rerack all the weights which will probably mess up his set. 2. People on their phones while on a machine. I promise you, if you’re on your phone for longer than 3 minutes in between reps, someone will see, and they’ll want to rip you out of whatever machine you’re using. 3. Touching the mirrors. Pretty self explanatory, would hate to see what their bathrooms at home look like.
Core training baby! Actually, ill do u one better: if only people knew all they have do is train high rep on TRX strap. I switched to this after 23 years of heavy training... and I still keep my gains from all those years. TRX is the best... and I bought mine from goodwill for $10.
when I go there, I do leg lifts with a 40 LB dumbbell, I am always adding new PRs everyday, Russian twists heavy 85 LB dumbell just 360 preacher curls, I have no respect for lazy people and worse, gym managers who defend those POS and encourage that superficial positive bull. Weaklings there everywhere, so many wastes of space.
Lmao my buddy is like that, he was super overweight and now good for him he lost a bunch. But he always starts with cardio and gets his sweaty ass on every single machine lmao
The people who use multiple sets of dumbbells has become a real issue at the gym. Pisses me off.
That’s why I workout at home lol
