Thank you have just cleared an airlock that had for 4 days, no water coming to bathroom taps, tried several other options and this worked in less than 20 mins. Simple and easy to do.
Do you move all the way over to cold or do you keep it on the hot side and move it partly towards cold? eg- move it 30 degrees a or move it 80 degrees?

Nice tip with the glove.Worth mentioning that if a non return valve is fitted under the sink that won't work.

What if cold water is not running but hot water is fine?
Have this same problem after re fitting a sink, cold running downstairs and hot running upstairs. Any suggestions

If you can get it to 90 deg, that would be max pressure from the mains to the hot,
What if no water is coming out can you still preform this ?
