Considering this for a dress that has cap sleeves and would prefer flutters. Flutter sleeves are so much more flattering on larger arms. Thanks for the tutorial!

I have a sleeveless top pattern I'm going to make for my Caralina. I don't have a sleeve pattern to start with...have to draft it too! Hope you have a video tutorial for sleeve drafting. Probably have to watch videos a couple times before cutting into our fabric! Thank you for sharing & inspiring!

Great, thanks for this! BUT how would I go about making the sleeve longer over the outer arm? With same underarm length...
Could you make a gentle curve from the underarm edge out to the center of the sleeve and then back to the underarm edge?
Yes, I would curve out the top of the sleeve a little more so it flairs out.
Can you tell me what kind of board you use with the magnets? It looks like it makes it so much easier. I’m NOT good at sewing. Lol
Do you keep the straight of grain the same for the flutter sleeves? Down the middle of the sleeve?

Yes it is ❤️ Ny has a great video on this channel that shows how you can make your own magnetic mat.
The top or sleeve head of my flutter sleeve is much larger now than my original sleeve? I don't see how it well now fit in the armscye without gathers. What did I do wrong? How do I fix this?
Does this only work with a knit type fabric? Can it be used with cotton or linen?
This also works with woven! just make sure to use the right size sleeves so the cap fits ❤️
