I feel like this game has really brought out the best in Tomb Raider, after all the progression Uncharted made in redefining adventure games like these, Tomb Raider took that and improved it by a lot, only issue I had with this game was you couldn't toggle your flashlight and the scripted events weren't as dynamic as Uncharted, even felt some Last Of Us mechanics in this game. Absolutely love the gameplay

Fighting with wild animals has been a staple of the series! Since the Original TR, the wolves, the Bears, tigers, snakes, boars...etc. I love that they’re bringing so much focus to these fights. Very nostalgic. Yeah they’re stretching it a bit sometimes...but it’s a video game. And she’s an explorer. The game wouldn’t make sense without her running into wild life, during her adventures. TAKE MORE NOTES, UNCHARTED.
cyclopstb I could handle all what you said. The only thing I can’t handle are the creatures. They give me the creeps, and it’s so difficult to get past the level since you have to solve a puzzle while a whole army of them is trying to kill you.

I mean in the jungle area Nathan Drake could've easily faced a jaguar too, or even in the colder climates there's always wolves, bears, even mountain lions! Still, might be a little overboard if you responded to an animal attack with an RPG you happened to pick up! lol That and animals don't take a stance while you go into fisticuffs mode!
The Uncharted series is the equivalent comparison to Marvel because it's lighter and not so cruel or gloom in a narrative stand point and easier to pick up/get into also the gameplay is less realistic and the Tomb Raider series is the equivalent comparison of DC because it's darker in terms of combat, character development, physics, graphics and narrative.
i came here to see if anyone else's jaguar fight was weird, mine just stood still for a solid minute as i pumped a whole quiver into it. didn't start moving around until i walked up next to it, weird. Stupid how all the arrows were pointless as this fight ends with a triggered cutscene
