I disagree with your list. the number 1 lawn mower makes you tired fast compared to other lawn mowers. Not to mention the Toro ones doesn't run fast compared to other ones.
Honda still number one rating low maintenance. Very reasonable price wise and the cutting deck on them is made out of the same material as football helmets so they will never I've been doing lawn care for over 15 years and I highly recommend this mower
These days Honda are rubbish. Just about to throw out my 4yr old one which the deck is completely rusted out on. Total waist of money, quality isn't there anymore, even the mower mechanic told me to go to Bunnings and get one. .
No, they just don't want to get into the battery game. With CA banning gas equipment, they see the writing on the wall. It was purely a business decision, however they are still building Honda engines which can be bought on different branded mowers.

I've had the Honda 217 for 4 years now. Terrible in picking up the grass when bagging. Wish I had my 3.5 hp Snapper HiVac push back from 1988.

Steel deck is still better. Plastic will degrade over time. If you keep a metal deck clean, it will last a lifetime.
