For the longest time, I struggled with deciding whether to buy Vanilla 28 or Vanilla Woods. Now I own both 🤦🏽♀️ 😆 if you want a gourmand vanilla, go with Vanilla 28. At first spray, it’s not impressive but if you let it age a little after those initial sprays the juice gets darker and it becomes a deliciously beautiful brown sugary vanilla. If you’re looking for an aromatherapy type vanilla, go for vanilla woods. It’s a great vanilla with slight rose and pear but it also has a smokiness that wafts in the background making it excellent to pair with MM Replica’s By the Fireplace. I was actually surprised that you liked it, I thought the smokiness would turn you off. I really enjoy both, no regrets 🥰
I really wanted to love vanilla woods. I was sooo hyped when I got the package. But I think my body chemistry was not working together. It smells like vanilla in a campfire. Like a wood on fire. I’ll be ordering Kayali’s vanilla.
It said that Hot Couture was Amy Winehouse’s perfume and every time I use it I feel a little bit sad and also happy at the same time ❤️

Hot Couture was my first proper perfume when I was 18. I remember thinking it was so sophisticated and something Victoria Beckham would wear (it was 2001 🤣). I wore it as my going out perfume for many years and this was the perfume that made me fall in love with fragrance! These days I gravitate more towards Givency Very Irresistible...I think Givency do some of the best perfumes in the world. Xxxxx

omgggggg givenchy hot couture edt is literally the best smell in the world. i've never smelled the edp myself because i'm hooked on the edt lol. i've gotten sooooooo many compliments over the years from mostly men! it's so sweet but sexy sometimes smells like candy on me? idk it's sooooo good.
that, d&g light blue & viva la juicy are my tried and true regulars. i can't stop.
i think the reason the edt was hard to find was because they were recently redoing the packaging of it, it no longer has the classic bottle but who cares.
I thought Tom Fords tobacco vanille was gonna smell like cigarettes but it literally smells like a Starbucks Chai Latte. It’s the best fall perfume in my collection. Love it. You should definitely sample it! You would love it. Much better than Mac by a LONG shot.
Yes I Am from Cacharel also smells like a Chai tea latte with some fruitiness and a bubblegum aspect too

I can totally relate to your experience with Hot Couture EDP! I was so scared of getting it because of all the reviews stating it smells like cigarette smoke. I HATE the smell of cigarettes and thankfully I don't get any cigarette smoke or ashtray smell from Hot Couture EDP. I mostly get black pepper, raspberry, and magnolia. I would like to sample the EDT for comparison, but yes, I agree that there is more of a leather/suede smell rather than a cigarette smoke smell.
And yes, the bottle is so satisfying! I had the same thoughts as you about the bottle reminding me of a bar of gold or a chocolate bar. I was nodding my head as you said it 😂

To me the edt smells like a very light version of the edp. Nothing beats the discontinued hot couture no1, the one with the lady in black. But edp is the best out of the new hot couture line in my opinion

Wanted girl by Azzaro is such a beautiful scent. I discovered it while l was traveling and I just had to have it. I can’t wait to try out some of the other scents you recommended.

THIS PERFUME IS A GEM! It is loved by people who usually get luxury and niche but it is likable at the same time. Tere is barely any smoke and the current EDP is probably what the old formulation EDT was as many admit is was weakend with time. Doesnt smell vitage! :) ultrasexy and unique/posh at the same time (not overly sweet! :)
FYI: LOVE YOUR CONTENT! The bottle for the women's scent of Azzaro Wanted Girl is supposed to be a gun trigger. The men's bottle Azzaro Wanted Pour Home resembles a gun cylinder.

Ooh yay! You got Givenchy Hot Couture. It’s one of my favourites! I have both the edp and edt and like them both. The edt is more fruitier as it has strawberry added but it’s also long lasting.
The Wanted Girl you can also spray it by pressing down on the top of the bottle so it works both ways.
Please tell me, are there any other perfumes you would compare each one to? I really don’t know which one to get.
@@mariebellamoreaudubois3871 Hot Couture is quite unique, so I can’t really compare it to anything else. If you are trying to choose between the edt and edp, I would suggest the edt as it is easier to like as it’s a bit more fruity and slightly brighter.

I'm thinking of getting either the Hot Couture eau de parfum or the eau de toilette version. I really enjoyed the edp when I tested it, but I found the opening a bit balsamic and overpowering, but I do like the smokey, makeupey, woody ambery scent profile. Do you think the edt is similar but lighter ? Or is it a completely different scent ? Your recommendation would really help me decide ❤
@@BlueSapphiree the edt is brighter and lighter. The edp is more denser. They both have a similar profile. The edt is easier to like, so you may like that one better.

Yes! Sol De Janiero 62 edp, is the best perfume in my small collection. It's so delicious, and lasts for hours. I love it so much, I had to buy a back up bottle, because it's always sold out. ❤☀️
Ive been wearing Hot Couture since it was first released in 2000. This is the ONLY perfume that i continually repurchase. I still try others, but never go back for a second bottle. I have got so many compliments over thw years from both woman and men, and Hot couture is the one that drives my husband crazy (in a good way lol). I hope it always sticks around.
I've been loving your videos, since they popped up on my feed. You said one of your favorite notes is pomegranate, it happens to be one of my favs as well. I've recently rediscovered my love for fragrances and I keep gravitating towards this note in body mists. Now I want to spend my money on perfumes instead of mists. Have you done any dedicated videos to your favorite notes? If not, can you please do one on pomegranate?
I've been using your videos as references when I look through the scents at Ross, TJMaxx and Marshalls. I've also used your Ari video to see your thoughts on them, since my granddaughter has asked for one for her tenth birthday. She is set on Ari, but even before watching your video, I almost picked up Sweet Like Candy, but then knew I had to come home and watch videos. I never knew about the pickle thing in Thank you next, but the first time I smelled it, there was something about it that I just didn't like. I wasn't sure what it was, but it wasn't pickles to me. 🙃Now I have to go back and resmell it.

Hmmm. The Givenchy perfume sounds so interesting. I love Givenchy. It's such an interesting house. I'll have to check it out Hot Couture. It's one I don't remember the smell of. I recently got back into Cacharel perfumes and now I have to revisit Given by too. Some of my faves from the '90's

Hot couture was my signature scent for years. I hadn’t smelled it in forever so I bought a big bottle of the edt last year and it was as good as I remember. I need to wear it more I have so many perfumes. You should try Azzaro Wanted Girl By Night it’s amazing. Going to pick up the perfume in the sol de janeiro for the summer.

Also I love cheirosa v much but I don't see getting the perfume over the cheirosa body mist as worth it. Doesn't last, doesn't project but I looove it and it's bottle.

You need to try the Kayali Vanilla 28 again but get a sample spray a bit to trigger it and then leave it a few weeks till the juice goes really dark then OMG it’s amazing, it smells like a fresh vanilla pod.

OMG, Sol de Janeiro, pure love. I had an appointment at my doctors office and didn't want to wear perfume so I put some Bum Bum cream on my elbows and legs. The nurse had a face mask on and asked me what was that I had on that she could smell through the mask. Then another nurse came in the room and said, is that you who smells so yummy? They asked me to write down the name and where I got it from. I was surprised because I that a cream could drive people crazy, but it does.

I think the Mac perfume that is a "dupe" for TF Tobacco Vanille is Velvet Teddy and not Crème D'Nude🤔 But nice video❤️

I remember reading somewhere that Tom Ford actually had a hand in the development of the ShadeScents. Don’t know if this is true, but Velvet Teddy smells familiar! It makes sense because of his relationship with Estée Lauder.

I have been on the fence about the Hot Couture one! I have recently discovered my love for raspberry in perfumes but the reviews on Fragantica were somewhat negative about the smokiness. Not to sound like sense snob but I think my nose may recognize more complex notes because I don't get the same vibes as people who pick up one or 2 notes from a perfume. I feel like I can pick on the complexity and the mixture of all of the notes. I am sensitive to smells so that's probably why. Thanks for the video, I just ordered after watching this!!❤

I cant remember if I commented this before but there is a newish scent from express called Eau So Simple and it's sooo good. It's kind of a fresh/sweet/almost peppery and fruity scent. It's probably my number one most complimented scent like I had a guy at the gym follow me as I was leaving yesterday and ask me cause he wants his girlfriend to wear it. It doesn't smell like a dupe of anything. It's not on fragrantica but if you can get your hands on it please do a review because I feel like it's a secret that I've been keeping lol. Judging by your taste I think you would love it. I have two back up bottles.
