- Watch the FULL BROADCAST of the Jeep Men’s Snowboard Slopestyle Elimination event that just went down LIVE at X Games Aspen 2020.
How It’s Judged:
1 heat of 16 athletes in a 50-minute jam session, with approximately 3 runs per athlete. Riders are ranked 1-16 based on overall impression. Judges will rank competitors throughout the contest. Top 5 advance to Final to meet 2019 medalists. Places 6-16 eliminated from further competition.

Pacifico Women’s Snowboard Big Air: 11-11:45 ET

I actually did something similar except I went into a tame dog from, landing flat and it probably will not happen again just as Fridge's was also unintentional. What bugs me the most is keeping the backpack on. He could ride so much better without it

I swear X games what introduced me to my favorite snowboarders and jump started me to become more obsessed with snowboarding
These kids do things that I only dream of, with the same effort as I put on a simple ollie. And with flat light, no sun.
I bet when you compare the amount of time you've spent on a board vs the amount of time they've spent on a board it might make more sense :)
@@Muzzletainment that is true, but I live in the mountain. I am a snowboarding instructor. You know, if you can't, you teach 😂. I am 42 and In my 20's the best I could do was 540s in 8 or 12 meters jumps, some jibbing, a few tricks... and with about 170 days of snowboarding every year. Jesus Christ riders nowadays are amazing. Those kids not only have got the time on a board, they are truly talented. It's so pleasant to watch them!

It’s like they feel like it’s necessary to ad a fourth jump because of the quarter pipe feature. Get rid of the first jump
YES! the new format is less entertaining to watch and it doesn't help the sport evolve.

My mom's best friend from high school is athlete Luke Winklemans mom. I'm gonna meet him tonight for the first time. To bad he didn't qualify for the final. I'm a high school senior so I didn't get the chance to see him compete in person today due to school. :/

ok sir sorry for contradicting you, but absolutely not! you couldn't be more mistaken, this is actually one of the events where the original commentators get spot on in everything they say, maybe because they get so involved with the athletes, understand the sport and well should we mention that Craig and some others are good snowboarders themselves, and it's even more thrilling to watch it under their impressions.
I think I speak for many people here when i say this, because x games is translated in many contries including mine, where the translations are not accurate with whats actually going on, thats why streaming it on youtube with the original commentator its a life saver for many.
