My son brought a baby ween home "temporarily" because his gf couldn't keep him at her house. My husband was going through chemo and while he said he couldn't stand weiner dogs, he "allowed" him to cuddle while he napped. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months we had this pup. Son discovered gf was cheating and broke up. Gf wanted ween back after not seeing him for 5 months. We gave her an itemized list of what we spent including boarding fees lol. Hes still here 3 years later, bestfriends with grumpy dad who puts sweaters on him, shares his sandwiches with him, and even has a portrait made of him lmao. He went from "that dog isnt staying here" to matching outfits and "I'm building a ramp so he doesn't have to jump off the bed"😅

Man the same thing happened pretty much when my sister went to work overseas and left our parents her dachshund to look after. Dad was so sour at first with him but now after 5 or 6 years they’re best buds and he sleeps at the end of their bed haha

They will be best buddies, and great company for each other. When we had 4 dachshunds, our first girl and her 1st brother would sleep together in 1 kurunda bed, and #4 & #5 would sleep in other kurunda bed. They stuck together playing in fenced in yard. Love me some Frito feet Doxi dogs 💜🐾
