Many vloggers who made videos on this train have said it many times that this train is having so much extra slack time,still nothing has been done to reduce it.
Basically ERS doesn't have much platforms /shed to accommodate a new train which running before time and ending journey in ERS, That's why they doing like this, most of the time they have to move rakes to near by stations to make platforms clear.

Nice journey.I think duranto se jada service crossing less train Gimb tirunelveli Humsafar express hogi.
Duranto ka naam change karke Humsafar Dena chahiye. Humsafar jaise coaches & service honi chahiye.
I also faced same problem with this train 5 Years back from Panvel to NZM, It was 6 hrs late & stopping at every stations & outers.

Konkan Railway me kya duronto aur kya rajdhani, sabko equal priority milti hai thanks to it being a single line. Suresh Prabhu when was rail minister had announced the doubling of entire KR route which piyush goyal later scrapped saying it's not economically feasible as there is less than expected freight traffic. The line though is now over saturated and desperately needs to be doubled.

Suresh Prabhu has been missed badly. Railways has started cheating (check skewed timetable or running status on NTES) and service is deteriorating.

Last overtake by good train was stunning 😁... Slag time is given for this train bcoz of monsoon period timetable... Normally From October onwards, this train will reach Kochi at around 1430 hrs...

It's a pity that Indian Railway thinks progressively and reduce the travel time and assign 3 some hours for the last leg where as you said there were only 190 kilometers had to run in 5 long hours. What is wrong with them. This way they are punishing the train and passengers who could have reached their destination about 2 hours earlier. Thanks for bringing this up!

Isliye rokha gaya hei.. 1, Eranakulam jn Station morning time high occupied hota hei.. 2, Iss train ka just aage 3, train chal rahi hei.. Ek toh same rout aane waali mangala Express, tcr sei touch kar k kerala express, Mumbai ek aur train same timing hei.. 5 ya 10 minutes ka gaps hei sabki
