- We made it to our final destination in Peru, and we definitely saved one of the best for last. For three whole nights, we got to sleep in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest at Curassow Lodge. After several car and boat rides into the jungle of the Amazon, we got situated in our little open-air hut and began our adventure through the rainforest. We saw and heard birds and monkeys of all kinds and got to witness the beauty of the Peruvian jungle in the black darkness of night. 🇵🇪

Wow !!! Amazing !! just Amazing!! The drone footage is so awesome. Such a difference in the river level between dry and wet season. I love hammocks. I am sitting in one right now in my office.
Sounds like a cool office! The water level really fascinated us. Freddy was saying that in the rainy season you would take boats through the forest instead of the hikes we did.

The variety and abundance of life in the Amazon is mind blowing right? I read online that there are several “tribes” of humans, that have yet to be discovered in the Amazon! When I read that, I found it hard to believe that there are people out there, that know absolutely NOTHING about modern life…isn’t that fascinating?

Chad and Claire. cacao ( the plant ) was originated in the Amazon Rainforest. Science has proven that so far. But not only Cacao, but also chocolate. It is been said that it was originated in mesoamérica, but recent studies has proven that ruins in Montegrande in Jaen , Cajamarca Peru and in Ecuador ruins are the origin of chocolate.

Chad and Claire, wow wow wow you finished your last trip in Peru with a big BANG! You did it again. Outstanding story telling, cinematography/drone shot and your natural (down to earth) presentation bar none. You guys are great with details & has great sense of humor (when wearing the long boots). The rippled waves behind the boat drone shot was amazing. And Claire’s hand movements along with boat’s motion was perfect in sync. You are my role model.
I just went on 2 weeks hiatus but I am back. Due to 8 days California road trip (2500 miles driving and camping), most days without signals/internet. You inspired me on travel. I took my 2 daughters with me (1 love to hike like me but 1 daughter is shopping type). What a trip; I was prepared because of your videos (taught me a lot).
I just finished making 6 videos; all in this past week (last one just now, “I left my hat in San Francisco). I went to San Francisco on a day trip today & shot some video and picture (so it is fresh & just publish on RUclips). II now just realized that it’s so hard making good video and you made the top notched ones. I really enjoy them and can learn from you guys. These 6 videos are my very 1st (in terms of editing). The other ones I made like Gangnam style dancing on the cruise was made back in 2016 (my daughter toke it, funny just want to embarrass Dad (me) and other short ones has no editing at all. You are the best of best. How do you do it?

I grew up editing videos since I was in elementary school and Claire is just overall amazing at everything she does. So it worked out! We actually booked a tour for the Amazon end of August this year and noticed that you are both wearing shorts and short sleeves during the day.. how was the bug situation? I was planning on being completely covered up all day but you guys looked fine without the long sleeve protection. Did you just wear tons of bug spray? Thanks!
