Is there an easy way to clean the rice crispy treats. That is why I don’t make them. Although the brown butter sounds great. Also love the purse

I saw those comments under your pic on IG and it upset me. This is your job, this is how you make a living. We are literally always asking you for links, why is linking the products you like and recommend to those who may like it an issue? Yes I’m annoyed that she is even acknowledging this person because, why even comment that? What’s the goal??? You’re working hard to create content for us, I’m thankful for that.
In general, I think people are getting worn out on being sold to constantly. It makes everything feel so shallow and meaningless. I'm sure that person was just giving constructive criticism from their own viewpoint. There's nothing wrong with that, and Jessica wasn't upset about it.
The difference between you and the “average influencer” is huge! You actually recommend the products because you’ve used them and it’s not purely marketing. You are a trustworthy source for recommendations. I understand the sentiment and your desire to not be that person but girl, no you’re fine! Stay you and don’t let that comment take away who you are and what you do. I’ve watched you since the beginning and you have always been very genuine and have only gotten more so.

Yeah, I think just once q video as a reminder is fine. I feel like taylor Wynn does that where she just does a quick reminder that everything g she mentions is always linked and doesn't mention in every clip. Even if I don't want to actually buy things I'm constantly looking at the links haha

I'm sorry that people try to turn their own baggage into your issue. I love when I hear "it's linked below" because, let's face it, one of the reasons I watch influencer videos is to find out about cool new products from someone I trust. It's much MORE annoying when I see something in a video that I like but then there's no link available! Keep doing you and remember that 99% of your viewers are here because they like your content and don't get hung up on the haters.

Jess, I’m so glad that you created an LTK page! It makes finding things SO MUCH easier. I don’t always have a need for something when you mention it, but when I do need something, I can’t always remember if it was in a vlog or one of Tyler’s videos… so having a central place for your suggestions/links is so much more convenient now. I have found your channel to be the least consumer pushy channel of the many I watch regularly. I truly appreciate that fact. Just because you use "Like to Know It" doesn't mean we have to use it; it is just there if we want to. Two of my longtime watched influencers have now established monthly payments to get their content. I unsubscribed from their channels immediately. Doesn't sit well with me. As someone who goes to a lot of concerts, remember that you’ll most likely need to use the bathroom and you’ll want to be quick so you don’t miss anything. I would go with the dress instead of the awkward romper in a public bathroom situation

You're not doing anything wrong. This is ONE person's opinion. Please don't be apologetic or say you're going to try to do "better." There's nothing to do better, it's great the way it is. Please don't change how you're doing things because of one misguided comment. This is your job, this is how you make a living. I've been watching you for a long time too and mentioning links, or whatever this person said you're doing, is the last thing on my mind that I would ever criticize or even think about. It's a non-issue. We love that you're such a grounded and decent person who wants to please their audience but there's nothing to fix here. And keep in mind too that even if you change how you do things because of one comment, then someone else will take issue with the new way of doing it. And if you change again, then someone else will nitpick that. It's a no win. You're never going to please everyone. Someone will always have something to so say no matter what you do, so just do what feels organic and has been working for so long.

100% true about mosquitos if you live around water - they breed and lay eggs in standing water, so they’ll be much around ponds! Any standing water in your back yard can attract them too.

I think the problem is not you personally it's just the influencer/youtuber space at the moment. I think us as the viewers feel like we are always being advertised to which disrupts how we want to feel which is chatting with a friend. I know this is how you make money for your family, this is your job but just wanted to give you the viewer perspective. I still love you!
We all know they are doing a job, not being our personal friends, only saying what personally appeases us. Those who take issue with creators doing their job properly need to work on their own maturity and deal with that within themselves. Thankfully, the overwhelming majority of Jessica's viewers are adults who comprehend that.

I can't believe someone actually took the time to complain about something that ridiculously petty. I also love that you link everything. My current purse is one you linked last year. As for LTK, of course you should use it. This is a business, which some people don't comprehend. With mosquitoes, they are definitely far worse near more stagnant bodies of water. That is where they prefer to lay their eggs so there are always tons. Having lived on a lake and then a pond, we always have to be proactive against mosquitoes. We have our yard professionally sprayed a few times a year.

Jess, I don't comment much, I also don't read the comments like you do because I'm here to watch and enjoy the vlogs, so I never really see when there is a negative comment. When you bring it up, I find myself thinking "hmm, I didn't notice that, that is so rude of them," and brings attention to it that you totally don't need to. Annoyed/dissatisfied people will ALWAYS be louder than those who are perfectly happy and content with just how you do things :) DO NOT CHANGE A THING. I hear your desire to not be "that girl" but your intentions speak loudly and we all understand you're not just selling us products like we're watching a QVC Live show haha! I think the more you address it, the more it might pop up in comments because those folks will feel they are getting attention (that they do not deserve). Protect your peace, they can DM you if there is truly a personal an issue but they don't need to make you feel as though you should change your content when it is your job, and there are some of us that are here because of it, even if we don't vocalize it all the time! I did comment on Instagram under the LTK post that it bothered me. I've followed for a long time also. I guess those posts really bother me and others because we have to post a certain word to get a link. It kinda feels like our pretend internet bestie is just there to sell us things (when we buy too much already) It's different than just posting the outfit and tagging whoever sells the item. That's dumb but that's how it feels for those of us who love your channel just to escape. ❤

Jessica, you’re just one of the most clearly genuine people; at least from what I can see on here, obviously. This is also how you make a living for your family. For what it’s worth, as someone who watches you you’re a creator I know rly doesn’t make the effort to link things under the video. It’s just sweet that you take advice that seems legitimate & is worded kindly & ask yourself if it’s worth looking at or changing. Perhaps it’s because at one point it’s mostly makeup so it’s Sephora, Ulta, drugstore & nowadays it’s that, Target, Amazon, etc so i imagine with more places, it’s more links idk. 💕
Love the pink romper, totally Lover vibes, especially with white boots and a denim jacket! Go for whatever is the comfiest because it is a LONG show and you'll have more fun if your outfit is comfy and you don't have to worry about if something is sitting just right or not.

I recommend browned butter bites in your coffee! Make browned butter, pour into silicone ice tray molds, freeze, then pop one into your hot black coffee in the morning. Omgosh- amazing 😻
