Continue with basic game plan for UCLA. Same for USC, except fresh, violent pass rushers required for the 4th quarter (Wisky's was worn out) and more quick release slants, screens, and swing passes to Allen, Singleton, and Warren off of play action.
Most importantly, keep running the ball north south. It works.
Was not expecting Illinois to only get 7 points esp after scoring easily first but so disappointed with our kicker. My first visit in a while to happy valley with the good weather went well.

Allar didn't have a good game but credit the team for having the weapons to go to plan B and win. That's the make up of a quality team. My issue are the stupid...literally...mistakes. That push in the back on the interception was a prime example. They just kept letting Illinois stay in the game and somewhere along the way this will bite them.
This will never happen due to the unglamourous nature of tight ends, but Tyler Warren's versatility and profound impacts on production should put him in the Heisman talks. It is just not a realistic expectation!
time for a change at kicker. don’t care who. but anyone will do.
Defense is too undisciplined. will cost us at some point. too many dumbass penalties. hated the Allen hire, and i still do.
Allar is very good. not great. will likely never be great. and that’s ok. we can achieve our goals if he is very good.

Practice competition for kickers is not the same as game kicking. It is in his head at this point. Time for one of the other kickers to see what they do in game situations
