You are absolutely right. In Saudi Arabia, every expat was allowed to call their parents or parents in laws on family visits. The fee for for the visa is 2000 riyals for Pakistanis and for Indians, it's 400 riyals. That's insane. Our foreign department is not raising voice or taking any action against this. This video should reach everywhere. Share it on!!!

Bhai honestly Junaid Bhai is not wrong. And this is a reality check. I was born in Pakistan but lived 14 years of my life in Dubai. I know how people treat us here and honestly among so many diverse nationalities. Pakistanis are ones who are made fun of and this is because of us. We don't care about anything else other then cute/good looking people and what's going on with TV celebs and other useless things. About degrees Junaid sir is right. When I went to join a Uni here in UAE it was so unbelievable. Other nationals were getting all okay with their degrees and I had to wait 3weeks for my degree to get recognized and then also I didn't get in. Even though I did my high school here. And then I thought it's our problem. They are not discriminating us we are creating a bad image ourselves. We have to get up and change it. We have to show people that this is not who we are. Our Quaid didn't create Pakistan just to see us like this one day. All this time I see other nationals get whatever they want and Pakistanis have to wait in line or get rejected cuz of our ways or behaviours. It's our fault. Suck it up and change.

Bhai, you are the lone voice of reason. Do your bit, go alone if need be don't wait for others. Indeed on the television all look nutters n the PM looks like a joker. Very humiliating I agree.

    Even more,
The family visit visa fee for Indians is 300SR.(10000 RS)
Whereas for Pakistani nationals it's 2000SR.(65000 RS)
The crisis in Saudi Arabia has already made many Pakistanis flee back to their country. Yet even a visit visa is too expensive for Pakistanis!
The diplomatic relationship between the two countries needs to be improved.

It has been said that if an Arab has 1000 sons then only one survive and 999 will die so if you have option leave Arab states in two three years maximum and by the time Pakistan economy improves and Inshullah you will find job.

Junaid - You are right. There are plethora of issues concerning overseas Pakistanis. I have been out of Pakistan for nearly 30 years and live in Washington DC now. I am an entrepreneur and have supported various initiatives in Pakistan by donating money and/or my time. I am a dual citizen. I have always embraced my roots and the love of country. Although there is no need for me to have a Pakistani passport (because I have an American passport), I wanted to make sure I have one so I can effectively participate in the political changes in Pakistan and vote (as an overseas Pakistani). A couple of years ago, I decided to get my Pakistani passport renewed at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC. It was by far the worst experience of my life. The staff treats everyone like shit. There is no process and I witnessed the staff treating older folks with absolutely no regard or respect. Long story short, it's been 2 years and I still don't have my Pakistani passport. It's probably buried under some dusty files. The new government revamp every embassy top down and hire professionals who can do the job effectively. It's the only way to elevate Pakistan abroad and help the overseas Pakistani population.
Secondly, there should be some mechanism where overseas Pakistanis can get in touch with various departments in the newly formed government where they can effectively engage and contribute their brainshare and ideas and/or offer their skills. As a travel tech entrepreneur I know I can offer immense value to my country but I wouldn't even know where to begin or who to talk to. People like Umar Asad and others must engage. My humble request for you is to raise the awareness of how our embassies and consulates operate overseas.

Shifting here from a well industrialized country is very difficult. The thing that appalled me the most was that my father was out of a job because there are actually very few jobs available of his caliber here in Pakistan . Its been 4 years and I still haven’t been able to adjust due to drastic changes ! Its not about the luxury you’re used to its about how society deals with you in general.

I live in a Pakistani neighbourhood, I buy halal chicken from Pakistani shop, talk daily with them on day to day topics, even some of my Pakistani neighbours bring me excellent food now and then as I work from home, so I don’t see any issues with Pakistani Canadians.
I would request Pakistani people not to indulge in India-Pakistan politics and hatred, it will lead you nowhere. Same goes for Indians as well.
Work hard and try to earn more and more so that you can strengthen your family and countries economic situation.

There’s no system or application process besides the ghichpich posted on the website . Why not have a simple checklist?

Bhai, i am us citizen but my wife and my parents are pakistan born but my wife still has Pakistani passport , every time i need to go to pakistan i have to travel from North Carolina to New York or Washington DC, and get visa from the they give me only for one year every time i go there, i have no problem paying fee but before i travel to pakistan just to prepare my visa is another 3 days journey, plus my wife had to renew her passport last year, they made her come to there office 6 time during the 8 months of period because her passport said government employee, since before our wedding she was air hostess in PIA they said they need diplomatic envelope saying that they have no issue renewing her passport or if she has quit her job they have to confirm in dimplomatic envelope, she called PIA they said air hostesses are not gov department any more so there no way they can send that. The ignorance and culture i had to go through because of this , i hate to go to pakistan because of her sister wedding . If it was not for my wife i would never go there my dad has nicop and Mom gets visa for more than 5 to 10 years. You should have seen they way these people talk , they way our well civilized Pakistani who live here and some are citizen of USA , become Pakistani all the sudden they go to embassy , like if you stand in line every where u go, why dont you do it there as well and behave like civilized society. Why do you have to call someone and use your resource inside and the people who work inside also like escalated cases when someone come with referral ( sifarush) and extra envelope for them. Why can't they just do their duty, it's what they are getting paid, those who live here this is why they move here to change their lives, if they still want to live like that then why did they even move in the first place.

I am an Indian and to be honest, if there are issues in pakistan, i am not that happy. Both India and Pakistan share so much in common. Instead of fighting war, both countries must focus on winning the war against corruption, terrorism, poverty and illiteracy. May both nations choose the path of peace and friendship. I know, it is very difficult, but we must try.

The main thing is your behaviour your attitude and lastly character, if you change all these things and try to adopt as per custom of your host country and be like one of them.
You people think that , Islam is Superior religion other religions are nothing.
There is proverb" if your in Italy be like Italian"
WORLD WILL NOT CHANGE ACCORDING TO YOU, YOU HAVE CHANGE. ACCORDING TO IT.

Hello, We have a few Pakistani in one of our teams. But they always hide their identity as PAKISTANI. Last time, in our team we ratified each nationality as per Colorado state policy and US government norms. We really scared and never include them in our team soon after that expelled from the USA due to their hidden nationality. We have been living in Denver since 1999 after graduation from IITs. We really hate these sort of situations but we have no objection to work with any nationality. September 11 and then it was big difference in our teams, I thought almost nil H1B holders from Pakistan. As a matter of fact, we have no bad or worse experience with those Pakistani citizens, even invited them to celebrate Sankranthi, Deepavali, Dasara, other Hindu festivals, they visited with their families and they invited us too on their festivals, marriages. But government policies made them permanently expelled from the nation on educational and skills on one hand , Islamic radical image on other.
