- Operation Blue Star was a military action carried out by the Indian government in June 1984 to remove Sikh militants who had fortified the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The operation aimed to restore order and eliminate armed insurgents led by Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
Unfortunately, the operation resulted in significant casualties and sparked outrage among the Sikh community. The aftermath of Operation Blue Star had lasting consequences, including the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi later that year, further heightening tensions in India.

Haryana and parts of Himachal were indeed a part of the Sikh Empire. As per the treaty of ropar signed between Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji and the then British Governor General of India , River Satluj became the boundary of the Sikh empire and the area of present day Haryana and some Hilly areas of Himachal came under British control
Not anywhere inch of land in Haryana was part of khalsa raaj sikh empire.
Sikh empire extended from peshawar to satluj river only. Nishan chonki on banks of satluj was last point of the khalsa empire ruled by maharaja ranjit singh.
Secondly, only small portion i.e. jind princely state was under sikh phulkian rulers, which were a british protectorate. Alongside Britishers, They used to fight against the khalsa raaj maharaja ranjit singh.

The main reason attack on Sri harmander sahib was the Sri Anandpur Sahib Resolution, where he laid demands for panjab,such as farming, farmers crops and main was our water. In his speech he said he wanna live as an Indian citizen he has no problem living in India. But he said the day the Indian government attack our holy places that’s the day we gonna lay a brink for Khalistan.
