Diploma holder ko structural engineering me Ana bht tough hota hai... because diploma me technical knowledge nhi hota... Diploma teaches Drawings, Quantity Survey, AutoCAD, Surveying only....To become a structural engineer you should have good knowledge of Structural Analysis, Strength of Materials, Foundation design, Rcc Design, Steel Design and related software. .. Diploma is completely different from Engineering...I suggest you to look for site Engineering, Quantity Survey, Draftsman or Surveyor jobs .Their is huge demand in market for a person having good skills in them..Rest is up to you...Good luck

No, you are wrong Farhan. Even in Diploma Engineering course teaches all these TOS, Engineering Mechanics, Soil mechanics, RCC structural designing everything is there. Diploma holder is also an Engineer. In fact, diploma holder has more practical knowledge than Bachelor degree holder.

In Pakistan diploma is called DAE " Diploma Associate of Engineer"...I have not seen any diploma guy working as structural engineer...Even if he gets knowledge of it he can't work as structural engineer because for designing structurres a license is required...In Pakistan we call it as PEC number.... Diploma holder does not have license unless he completes a bachelor degree...This is the case in Pakistan...I don't know about India..

Even if you know how to drive a car you have to have license to drive it on road... Diploma students do not have such license...End of scenario
