I demo’d the previous model for a week. Would definitely play it in a 60 but not so sure about a 56. Maybe over time I’d get use to the bigger footprint. Love that this model comes in different bounce and grind options. Just wish the standard MG4 came in equal left and right handed bounce options. (TM doesn’t offer left handed low bounce) :(. Great video
I'm with you Georgina. I much prefer the traditional look and versatility. Currently playing a Maltby TSW meant for versatility for perhaps the better wedge players. If something happened to it, I'd get another one immediately. Their other offering is the Max Milled wedge which is much like the Hi Toe. It's designed for less skilled wedge players who need forgiveness over versatility. Good review Golfalot.
That’s the whole point, there isn’t any difference when hitting normal shots. When you do have to manipulate the club face, you just have more surface area with grooves, so you have a more consistent launch/spin. The grooved area of your club face has effectively become smaller, meaning you are more likely to hit outside the standard grooved area, so extending the grooves makes perfect sense on the higher lofted wedges where you are more likely to open the face. You get used to the look pretty quickly. I actually now quite like that my 56 is a full face high toe (Wilson ZM), it gives me a bit of a mental poke that this is my up and down club, so concentrate.
The one lie you didn't try, that I think would have been worth testing is a bad lie where the strike is a little less predictable. As a good player, you would have no issue using a normal wedge out of a fairly straight forward lie, but I think a lie out of the really long grass or a bare lie between 2 clumps of grass is where a full face of grooves would really shine because of that un predictable strike
I have the Cleveland full face wedges in the bag and they've made a big difference to my short game. Definitely more forgiveness for sure.

I like a full toe and I also like Cleveland full face too

I think the bounce has a big factor. But very interesting club.
How could anyone swing effectively with such a tight fitting puffer jacket? Good luck to you if you can but I couldn't.

Hi toe and full face. Two marketing distractions for me
