Actually, I can I imagine Kaveh looking at Ei and making it his life mission (for at least a week) to show this clear shut-in a good time and make sure she enjoys her time. Weird, and yeah, he'd definitely drink in-between and rant to someone else at the bar to make a plan for them the next day to help Ei experience new things, but he is also the type to make sure Ei gets everything out of this trip that she can. At his own expense, maybe at times.
In the meantime, Alhaitham and Fischl is cursed.

How can Tiggy Sucrose not be in the top tier? They canonically get along very well and will probably talk biology until Tiggy remembers they're supposed to be on vacation and get them to do some vacationy stuff. Sucrose doesn't really have a vacation mode though.

That reminds me, I actually been on a cruise to Mexico 4 months ago. It was super cool, we ate at these fancy restaurants on the ship, and there were shops and even a casino on the ship. We were on a cruse ship called the Regal Princess. That was a fun vacation.
I feel bad for Ganyu fans cause I know they felt that cursed PTSD the last time Ganyu was paired with a Harbinger.

OMG Diluc and Ayato would be great together because they both had to take on a lot of responsibility at a young age, they both do a lot of espionage stuff behind the scenes, and they both play chess and are looking for an opponent who gives them more of a challenge. They're 100% having a chess tournament on board, maybe with Kaeya and Thoma making bets on the sidelines. Also, I can see Ayato sharing boba with Diluc, and Diluc considers adding it to the Angel's Share menu, but then Ayato pours grape juice into his own boba and Diluc is like WTF.

Let me explain, I just found a new hill to die on.
Alhaitham does not give a shit about what others think of him. What reason would he really have to tear down Fischl? She's not holding herself back at all and is very successful in what she does. Conversely Fischl also doesn't give a shit either. She is sensitive but clearly resilient. Family and strangers alike have likely commented on her role-play before. She wouldn't listen to them, why would Alhaitham bother?
Also, Alhaitham could keep up with her long winded monologues. I doubt what he reads is anything close to overly worded fantasy novels, but he wouldn't need Oz to translate. Like, could you imagine, for some reason, Fischl has to stay with Kaveh and Alhaitham and it's just like,
Fischl: *Speaks of the warm view of the dawn, veiling the world in necessary warmth. How the cold dark must rest, but it's all said like it's a question.*
Kaveh "What?"
Alhaitham: "The extra blankets are in the closet."
Fischl would silently get really comfy with him and could hide behind his shoulder if she ever felt like she needed to. It also wouldn't matter if Fischl couldn't keep up academically with him (although she a lot smarter then she leads on) 'cause Alhaitham could be talking about a super elaborate theory about something and she'd come back with a slightly related metaphor. Kaveh would be confused as hell in the corner with no idea if they're actually having a conversation or just messing with him. And that's just how they are. Everyone would think she'd be related to Kaveh, but she'd be his sister in law.
