- Erling Haaland came off the bench to slot home an added time penalty for 10-man City and secure a hard-earned but fully deserved three points.
The Blues had taken the lead through Julian Alvarez, but Joao Cancelo was shown a straight red card not long after for a last-man challenge in the box.
The visitors then levelled from the penalty spot and though Haaland looked to have headed home the winner on 76 minutes, VAR ruled the effort out for offside.
But deep into added time, the peerless Kevin De Bruyne won a last-gasp penalty that Haaland squeezed home to send the Etihad into raptures.

With Haaland entering the pitch fulham had to go back to defensive mode, they were no longer chasing the ball in the offensive side. It was cool to see how the whole games dynamic changed with Haaland entering the game

Kevin De Bruyne, Julian Alvarez & Bernardo Silva were outstanding today, the defence was solid as well except for that unfortunate moment when Cancelo was sent off because of his roughing challenge on the opponent. Happy to see Haaland back and scoring, I loved the way he celebrated the goal as well very passionate and happy about it. City + Injury Time Winning Goals is a love story that'll never end.

congratz but that was a dive from Kevin, he stood firm on both feet for at least 3secs after the contact 'he initiated', by purposely placing his foot where the defender had to place his and no way such a contact will make you spin 180 degrees

Did you see what i saw ?1... KdB knew exactly where the ref was.. he dived right in the refs blindspot even i thought it was an actual tackle till replay !!.... i am now wondering if they practice this in training... it was tooo perfect, the timing the execution KdB really is goood at everything.... i am never under.estimating his diving tho he never dives this was an exception for an exceptional circumstance !!...

That was the same contact manutd had when Sancho was fouled in the box 18 yet the ref didn't award a penalty. Even after checking var epl has never been consistent when it comes to big calls and city deserved the win especially playing with 10men but still similar decisions could go against other teams and yet they won't get the proper decisions
