I absolutely love how fast Southwest taxis. Clearly, the taxi policy varies from company to company, but as long as they're staying within FAA guidelines on the taxiways, Southwest is doing great. I could be wrong, but my understanding is that the flight crew is really only paid for the time that they're airborne. That would explain a lot too.

I fly southwest & I always thought that they taxi fast lol guess it’s true, I’m like jeez we are gonna tip the plane whipping through these taxiways
