Thanks for review i have the pro x version totem same design fold up base plate im very happy with them these color keys seem similar except you mentioned 8ft. Prox come with bag and 2 skrim colors
Wow.. the speaker stand ability is genius .. i just ordered (8) 6' truss for our shows (aluminum) ... but these totems extend too? Brilliant. I'm going to have to pick some of these up. Thanks for sharing!
Nice video Joe. I've been eyeing these things, but mostly I'm still after ones that would be able to hold a 40" flat screen. I think I'm still stuck with Gravity Stands/Chauvet FlexStands with pole adapter. Thanks for the in-depth on the ColorKey!
I made a bracket to hang a 43” TV from the front of my Rockville totems which are similar to these and the Novopro ones. Pro-X also makes a very similar one that comes with a TV bracket and special scrim.
I thought you had a new light by the way the title was worded. So, the plate folding, and did I hear right those go up the 8ft is the only difference. I have the Rockville's which are identical to the Nova pro's and these basically and I bolted the straps onto the totems so that the base plate still comes off quick, but the top plate stays on and I have them prewired with a up light inside already. I also bought 10 ft scrims for mine so that I can rouch them I think it adds more texture and makes the uplight inside look better.
Had 2 of the novopro’s. Used them 3 times and sold them on. Even with a van they’re a pain in the ass to move about. Look great but you’ll soon get fed up of the size and how awkward they are.
It’s not but that is by EV’s design. I have the same speakers in black and the Rockville version of these stands and never understood why. I drilled another hole in the top plate to position the speaker centered and it looks better.
I have the Rockville version of the pop up totem and I made an add on bracket to hang a TV from the front. I use 43” TVs so not to big, but would be comfortable hanging a 50” or possibly a 55”. The Pro-X versions have an option that comes with a TV bracket and a special scrim.
@@DJJoeBunn if you get a second reach out to me or let me DMU I’ve actually got some top performers in Orlando. I’ll bring under one umbrella and I think it’s something that might work. I’d love to incorporate you with it also.
not a fan of that welding... that will break guaranteed over time... Novopro stands are solid and i have them assembled and left in the van so never flat pack them.

Yes sir! Hit up ben@nlfxpro.com for them!
@ dj joe bunn. Do you recommend the moving head from both lighting?? How did it perform?
Actually really great lights, hit up cheryl@bothlighting.com
Thanks Joe
Nice vid. Question: Are the Color Key and the NovoPro the same width?
I believe so.
Hey, Joe! Do a video on the new Rockville rtp go stands. They look easier and pretty cool.
Tell them to send me some and I will glady.

How do you secure the moving heads to the stands? I have a focus spot 4Z - wondering how secure they would be on them.
I just sit mine up there.

@@figgyfunfor5488 Don't read it if it's too many words.
I apologize. My team posted that video with a bad title. It's been corrected.
could you clamp a Wash light on the side??
Lightweight, yes
Are your Both Lighting movers the 150 or 200 watt version?
I believe these are 150
@@DJJoeBunn Thanks... how much were they?
Is there a weight limit of how much the speaker should weigh on the top of these
Not sure about that.
So, apart from the base plate, they're just a copy of the Novopro?
Aren't they both just a copy of a tailgating tent? lol
thanks!
You bet!

I disagree. I think the custom bags I had made for them is the key. Leaving them assembled.
Looks like the speaker isn’t centered
Yeah what’s up with that? Strange

What he said above.
What size is the speaker? Thanks

nice
Why do they call it the colorkey? I thought the lights were included
That's their brand name, ask them.
Pretty sweet
Creasing the J’s. Good for you bro! Wear your kicks!
Always!
Anybody Which one you rather novopro,Rockville or colorkey
Colorkey for me if you're going to pack it up.
Great Video. I'd love to know what you use when you have TVs?

I don't use TVs.

If you need a Spanish Dj I’m in South Carolina but willing to drive
Just got mine and both boxes were open 🤦🏽♂️ One was missing the hardware and the scrim
Sorry to hear that.

I don't either, but these feel just as solid as NP.
