I always thought that these two actually had chemistry. I could believe them as a couple or her with the other dude. I love Shalimar, but her with Brennan just wasn't believable to me. I hated how they tried to force a chemistry that wasn't there.
Yeah, they pretty much set up a romantic attraction between Emma & Brennan in the first two episodes, and then go nowhere with that. Instead, I get to see a romance bloom between Brennan & Shalimar that came relatively out of nowhere. They kill off Emma in the stupidest way possible; dying peacefully in her sleep for no apparent reason couldn't be worse. Then we get the woeful season 3: goes nowhere storywise until the last ten episodes, and Adam gets turned into a ****ing clone.

I agree with everything but how you described how she died. She didn’t die in her sleep.
