I've always looked at the barra these past few year's in my '77. I just don't know about everything. Would you mind a break down video of what had to be done? The prices of it and such.
@@gavinstarke1184probably 4-6 hours. My first set of mounts that I ever made to mount to a cradle like this. A lot of angle grinder work. And they’re still not done. They’re gonna have about an inch cut out of them to stick in poly mounts
@@SantiSpeed1 mine was bought on sale last year $570 shipped to the door, with the cost of 9” axles, gears and parts to make it live that comes in the IRS i could t find a reason not to upgrade to the irs myself. BUT keeping it simple keeps you sane though lol
Make a shroud for the alternator to prevent steering fluid dripping into it when the little rubber O-ring fails.

Tbh I’m into it for about the same cost as a coyote swap. 2k for the engine, 2k for the trans. All my mounts are custom made

Looking good, needs an ‘16-20 Mustang IRS for good cornering though. Same plans but have the rear already in
I considered irs, but love the simplicity (and cost) of a solid axle lol

What clutch did you have there?
It’s a “blue Steele” from Australia, the transmission is a tr6060 out of a Ford falcon
