Make a shroud for the alternator to prevent steering fluid dripping into it when the little rubber O-ring fails.

I've always looked at the barra these past few year's in my '77. I just don't know about everything. Would you mind a break down video of what had to be done? The prices of it and such.

Tbh I’m into it for about the same cost as a coyote swap. 2k for the engine, 2k for the trans. All my mounts are custom made

@@SantiSpeed1 how did it take for you to fab the mounts up?

@@gavinstarke1184probably 4-6 hours. My first set of mounts that I ever made to mount to a cradle like this. A lot of angle grinder work. And they’re still not done. They’re gonna have about an inch cut out of them to stick in poly mounts

Looking good, needs an ‘16-20 Mustang IRS for good cornering though. Same plans but have the rear already in

I considered irs, but love the simplicity (and cost) of a solid axle lol

@@SantiSpeed1 mine was bought on sale last year $570 shipped to the door, with the cost of 9” axles, gears and parts to make it live that comes in the IRS i could t find a reason not to upgrade to the irs myself. BUT keeping it simple keeps you sane though lol

Thanks for the info on keeping the quick release for the clutch line in your other video.
What clutch did you have there?

It’s a “blue Steele” from Australia, the transmission is a tr6060 out of a Ford falcon
