After much deliberation, I just ordered the Wonder Mill! I also considered the Mockmill but decided at this time Wonder Mill is the right choice for me. I can’t wait until it arrives! Thank you for your videos, I’ve watched this one several times!
Thank you, Liz, for your comment. I am so excited for you! It truly is a great mill and a good one to launch your milling journey with. You can always swap it out later on if desired or you may want to keep it for always. You will love the fresh bread!! And the muffins. Don't forget the chocolate muffins if you like chocolate 🤩
I just received my Wondermill today. Reason I bought one as I need to purchase new lid for my Nutrimill Classic mill I have been using and I have to order lid next week if not in stock where I usually buy my baking supplies from. I will be making more sourdough pretzels which I use 10% fresh milled Einkorn wheat for whole wheat portion. I cleaned the mill by milling two cups of hard red spring wheat and then using one cup of basmati rice to clear out flour. This way any residue from manufacturing of mill is removed before I start milling my Einkorn wheat.
@@Tracy-Hart . I use ARW untreated flour for main flour part. It is untreated hard white wheat flour. I have also made 100% whole wheat pretzels using fresh milled spelt wheat. For other breads I have used hard red spring wheat. If I am making pastry dough I use mixture of fresh milled soft white wheat with either hard white wheat or hard red spring to make whole wheat version of all purpose flour. I prefer taste of fresh milled flour and untreated flour. I keep my wheat and rye grains in Vita Containers with gamma seal lid. I only get one bag untreated flour and I wait until almost gone before buying another bag but wheat and rye grains I buy in larger quantities as I keep grains stored properly and only mill what I need for amount of dough I am making.
I have the original called Whisper Mil. Lol there is definitely no “whisper” to it. Hahaha. My lid does not snap in place so I have to hold two parts together or it’ll blow flour all over the kitchen. Lol But it does mill faster than I saw your Mock Mill. But I am definitely considering getting the Mock Mill. I do appreciate your channel as I loooove using fresh milled wheat.
I love using fresh wheat too. 😍 I felt terrible leaving my wonder mill because it is a quality machine and it does a good job. But, I do not regret it. Just the convenience of not having to worry about the side hopper to catch the flour is nice. And you are correct, the mockmill is slower but the flour isn't as warm either when it is finished grinding.
I’m in the market for a mill but can’t decide between wonder mill and Mockmill 100.any thoughts? Need something easy to clean and not too big. This one looks like it’s very easy..
@@jenoz-k2t check out this video. I had my wondermill for about seven years. Honestly, the canister gets old and you can't get inside the mill to clean where you can the Mockmill. I have another video that shows just the 100 and the Pro. It is a little more of a challenge to set it than the Lino and Pro models but once you get it set, you probably won't adjust it often. ruclips.net/video/oNMLqt9jOvA/видео.htmlsi=lTjIRFpbbqADeTEu

Thanks for your demonstration. Exactly what I needed. Loved your basting brush so I’ve gone online to purchase one.
I'm glad I was able to help. 🙂 Thank you for letting me know.

Wow, I can’t believe how loud it is!
Yes. I think they are all pretty loud.
