I think its either she's put in an empty room for a long time to realize it or since her eyes are closed all she can see is darkness and she dances in a room making her say "empty room" because no one is with her except herself.
She's not blind. She just closes her eyes

She isn't blind. Her eyes are just closed. When she jumpscares you, her eyes open, but idk if thats supposed yo prove shes not blind. It may not mean she is blind but she just listens for your movement.
