Muharram is the first month of the Islamic calendar.
Anjar Moharram is observance of 11 (eleven) days of processions/rituals following
the Qarbala/Iraq events of 7th century AD and its history.
It has a history of hundreds of years beginning from the early 18th century in Anjar-Kutch.
Believed to be started by a renowned General of Kutch State: Jamadar Fateh Mohammad Notiyar in Anjar town
