Four Great Disciples of the Sacred Heart

- Four of the greatest disciples of the Sacred Heart are the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. John the Apostle, St. Gertrude the Great and St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. The Sacred Heart is the principal sign of the infinite Love of our Savior. All devotion to the Sacred Heart is given to Christ Himself and we therefore ought to offer supreme worship to the Sacred Heart. The aim and purpose of such devotion is to make our hearts like unto His own. We wish to reciprocate the love of Our Lord and stir up in our souls appropriate acts enlivened by that Love, such as acts of adoration, thanksgiving, reparation, love, and supplication. Sensus Fidelium consider if all the priests should be named by an alias in your video descriptions, so it would always be possible to return or to search for a priest's sermons. Even if it were just "Pater X, Y, Z".
@Joseph C... @Keith M... Faustyna's Divine Mercy devotion does Not give Any priority to REPARATION to GOD-specifically to Our Lord's Sacred Heart and Its Real Presence in the Eucharist as Our Lord Jesus directly disclosed to Margaret Mary Alacoque.
Fr. John Croiset, SJ, who was Margaret Mary's confessor and Spiritual Director after the death of St. Claude La Columbiere had >intimate knowledgeunder pain of sinreparation at all, and even less that it NEEDS to be made, offered to GOD.<
I'm Not doubting her personal holiness, nor that she's a saint in heaven. And the prayers of the Divine Mercy devotion ARE all orthodox, good and holy. Yet issues about her diary and messages remain.
Her Diary was >never removed from the Index of Forbidden Books.< Pope Paul VI, like so many changes made after Vat II, just abolished the Index: So overnight, all the books on the list were Not forbidden under pain of sin. (Whether or not a person should read them was, it appears, irrelevant to Paul VI-a good shepherd of people's souls??!)
JPII personally pushed both for her cause for canonization, and for the Divine Mercy messages and devotion to be given full approval.
BTW, when Jesus spoke to Lucy of Fatima about the consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, he directly made reference to the Sacred Heart devotion of St Margaret Alacoque by recalling the delay of the King of France; but He >did Not say a word about the Divine Mercy messages< that were allegedly taking place then.
Odd, isn't it? It's not a smoking gun, yet it doesn't help remove doubts and questions either.
...
BOTTOM LINE: REPARATION MUST HAVE A REAL PLACE IN ANY DEVOTION THAT CLAIMS GENUINE LOVE OF GOD.
Personally, I do sometimes pray the Divine Mercy chaplet and prayers. However, reparation to GOD-His Sacred Heart-in the BL. Sacrament and Holy Eucharist, and the Holy Rosary take priority.
What are the books please?

You should have included Sr Faustina. Just get over your Novos ordo misgivings. She is a Catholic saint.
Joseph Casley Faustina's writings and images where condemned by 2 popes formally, she is not a saint since she didn't go throw the "devils advocate" processes
@@HeisenBerg255 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faustina_Kowalska#Sainthood
I think you're making some assumptions here. The priest did not claim that the four mentioned saints were the only ones who had a great devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. And with such a short sermon he is obviously incapable of naming them all. There is no reason to think that he denies the validity of Faustina being a saint over not mentioning her. There are after all many others he could have mentioned yet did not.
@@HeisenBerg255 Her writings and images were approved by St. John Paul II. The Church created a feast day based on her private revelations, and defined her as a saint. Once the church defines someone as a saint it is no longer debatable. The Catholic Church has the authority to waive any of the normal requirements for the cause of sainthood; and this is evidently true since most early church saints had no formal process. However, even with that being said, St. Faustina did go through the formal process, including investigation of miracles; hence why her cause took decades. So please stop trying to blaspheme the saints by denying their sainthood.
The Divine Mercy image is deceptive. There are no wounds on the hands and it is bearing light. Lucifer means "the light bearer."
