Monday, 30.09.24, 6:30 am l am starting the new day as the sun rises with your wonderful documentary about this village called Ushtabin or Ashtabin in the English translation. I am excited to learn more of these hidden gems. After l finished watching the whole video, it looks more like a small town now, beautifully embedded between three mountains. The old architecture, the structures look very solid, but needed over time repairs, and serious reconstruction. Opinions always differ in community, and new generations always want change to modernity. It’s up to education, to educate the young well about the solidity and advantages of old ways, and the advantages and disadvantages of the new ways, so youngsters can make good decisions, and combine both. Sorry to be rude today, but l am not happy at all with the English translation, because many parts of the poems, and conversations are missing. It causes misunderstandings. So, l apologise, when l misinterpret some conversations, or actions seen in this town. The documentary was as always comprehensive, and the camera captured all the people involved in an intimately, positive light, and one felt as usually right there among them, can well imagine their daily routines, and aspirations. The descendant of the Poet Hakim Nabati was especially impressive reciting some poems of him. Unfortunately, as l lamented already, half or more of the first poem was missing, it started with...”in this world, sadness killed the world and our people running, and life problems killed us. How much hardship we suffer...O’ death come soon, that the sorrow of our lives killed (?)..””” l think, it’s not a good translation. The gist is missing, and extremely sad. It does not say anything about the conditions the people lived in at the time of Hakim Nabati 1191-1262 AH in this village. It seems too, it was a Clan with only relatives related to each other living in Ushtabin, which can cause inzestuöse marriages. But it was up to them. Again “cc” did not work proper, disappeared throughout and l needed to activate it all the time again, and the second poem recitation 30:06-32.05 was not translated at all about the romantic love affairs between Yusuf, Fulikha, Farhard and Shirin. 😢. I mention it as information to you. The alleyway with chickens, were the second poem was recited, was distinct from the others, renovated. What materials were used, and who renovated it so beautifully. In environments with ancient architecture over centuries build, clashes with modern construction methods, and materials are unavoidable. It’s a bliss, if architects and community agree on a concept, where both methods are respected, and old structures only modernised as reconstruction with some modern comforting features like electricity, bath, etc. As the village/town is quite big now, l assume the many boys, girls of all ages living there, are going to school there too. Monday, 30.09.24, 6:30 am l am starting the new day as the sun rises with your wonderful documentary about this village called Ushtabin or Ashtabin in the English translation. I am excited to learn more of these hidden gems. After l finished watching the whole video, it looks more like a small town now, beautifully embedded between three mountains. The old architecture, the structures look very solid, but needed over time repairs, and serious reconstruction. Opinions always differ in community, and new generations always want change to modernity. It’s up to education, to educate the young well about the solidity and advantages of old ways, and the advantages and disadvantages of the new ways, so youngsters can make good decisions, and combine both.
Sorry to be rude today, but l am not happy at all with the English translation, because many parts of the poems, and conversations are missing. It causes misunderstandings. So, l apologise, when l misinterpret some conversations, or actions seen in this town. The documentary was as always comprehensive, and the camera captured all the people involved in an intimately, positive light, and one felt as usually right there among them, can well imagine their daily routines, and aspirations. The descendant of the Poet Hakim Nabati was especially impressive reciting some poems of him. Unfortunately, as l lamented already, half or more of the first poem was missing, it started with...”in this world, sadness killed the world and our people running, and life problems killed us. How much hardship we suffer...O’ death come soon, that the sorrow of our lives killed (?)..””” l think, it’s not a good translation. The gist is missing, and extremely sad. It does not say anything about the conditions the people lived in at the time of Hakim Nabati 1191-1262 AH in this village. It seems too, it was a Clan with only relatives related to each other living in Ushtabin, which can cause inzestuöse marriages. But it was up to them. Again “cc” did not work proper, disappeared throughout and l needed to activate it all the time again, and the second poem recitation 30:06-32.05 was not translated at all about the romantic love affairs between Yusuf, Fulikha, Farhard and Shirin. 😢. I mention it as information to you. The alleyway with chickens, were the second poem was recited, was distinct from the others, renovated. What materials were used, and who renovated it so beautifully. In environments with ancient architecture over centuries build, clashes with modern construction methods, and materials are unavoidable. It’s a bliss, if architects and community agree on a concept, where both methods are respected, and old structures only modernised as reconstruction with some modern comforting features like electricity, bath, etc.
As the village/town is quite big now, l assume the many boys, girls of all ages living there, are going to school there too. (❓)

@@johndewey6358 در مستند اگر توجه کرده باشین در مغازه با دهیار دارم صحبت میکنم و به ایشان گفتم که هر وقت دوربین ما را میبیند خودش را مشغول کاری میکند و از آمدن به جلوی دوربین اجتناب میکرد . و اما در مورد مسایل فرهنگی چند وقتی است منطقه آزاد ارس بر حسب وظایف اجتماعی خود فعالیت هابی را انجام می دهد . راوی مستند گفت جدیدا سعی میشه از ساخت و سازهای جدید در بافت قدیم جلوگیری بشه . اما بیشتر از همه خود مردم می توانند تاثیرگذار باشند . وقتی خود اهالی دست به ساخت و ساز غریبه در یافت قدیم می زنند راههای فرار را هم یاد میگیرند . در مورد مسائل زیست محیطی و منابع طبیعی مشکلی نیست و از منابع طبیعی و حیات وحش و دیگر گونه های طبیعی محافظت می شود .
اگر در سرابیشی بالا دست روستا را درختکاری (با درختانی که ریشه عمیق دارند) نکنند، بسیاری از خانه های در دامنه و پایین کوه در خطر ریزش خاک (Landslide) از بالا هستند.

@@johndewey6358 معنای روستا . در گفتگوی آخر ما با اهالی گفته شد . در واقع در میان سه کوه قرار گرفتن روستا . معنی می شود . طبق معماری های به جا مانده و آثار مسعود از در دوران صفویه رونق داشته . و تاریخ روستا را در اول مستند راوی فرمودند به دوره ساسانیان و اشکانیان برمیگردد . سپاس از توجه شما ❤️
Название село на староазербайджанском(ancientazeri, taleshi) наверное. В Талыши такие сёлы есть Гэлэбын(Galabyn, Dangabyn. Там очень много надгробных камней с такими рисунками в стойках подвале этого видео.
