This is great and all, but I can't get the software for this device anywhere. We have an older U-Wave transmitter and receiver in my company, but no CD in sight and who knows at what point we got the set (it was there before I started working, my boss doesn't remember when they got it). Apparently the CD with this software, including the USB drivers, costs about as much as the transmitter/receiver set. And you have to install that additional software to use it. Which is funny, considering the BOBE transmitter/receiver that, when plugged into a PC, works by itself by mimicking an actual keyboard.
    Am I missing something?
Why should anyone use this product when I can use the BOBE set that works on any and all PC's without requiring having our IT department install software/drivers for it? I am honestly curious.

I know this is an old comment, but, I recently connected with our Mitutoyo dealer and was provided with a contact to get new software:
"You can request the latest software update v1.022 from tech.support@mitutoyo.com "

@@traceyb1642 Well I'm not even sure if our device works at all (some LEDs don't turn on), so I don't feel like contacting their customer service and going through the hoops for this.
Also, you mention that they send out the update for the software, but I don't actually have the software to update...

So every time needs to get the data they need to push the button? How funny for such a device set with the price equal to a caliper itself

Yes you press a button to get the data from the tool or if you are using Measurlink SPC software you can request the data through the software.
