I wish I could have a boss like that demon lord. I didn't expect Scooter-kun to be the best way to get a good boss lol. Otherwise, I read the manga and I had a lot of fun reading it so I'm really looking forward to watching this show.
Teenage kids wish fulfillment: Crazy superpower that can easily defeat the opposing side and maybe a harem. Adults wish fulfilment: A boss who properly appreciates one's skills and hard work... and going by opening visuals, possibly a harem, too. >.< Also, really love how the MC, as the counterpart of Undine - the water elemental according to Paracelsus' classification) - turned out to be the Overseas Manager. When you put this job description in this context, it does sound like some oceans governing demigod at least!
The fantasy isn't that he has OP powers or amazing combat skills. No, the fantasy is that his work is respected and appreciated, he is paid and given full benefits for said work, his boss is not only respectful but full-on supportive, and he's given agency and autonomy to accomplish his work the way he feels is best or to walk away from the job opportunity if he doesn't feel it's right for him with zero negative repercussions. Oh, and being able to work next to a big-tiddy tsundere demon (dragon?) girl waifu doesn't hurt either.
When we met the others in the big 4 before the intro, I told myself that I'm certain there's a sexy chick inside the suit. Intro confirmed. I'm now 99% sure the demon lord is also a sexy chick with voice changing armour. Oh I can only hope
I knew you were gonna like it, and it only gets better from especially from what I’ve seen in the opening. It’s gonna cover a lot I’ve read (even though my memory is spotty, really need to read the manga again) and it was nice remembering everything I knew as the episode went on too, I was laughing a good deal seeing it all animated. I admit too I didn’t really like the opening too much only because of song preference but I loved some of the shots of Uchimura when he has his cape, they did that justice.
Also, I just took a look at the manga and I can say some thing was changed (like really one small thing but still important), another thing that went into the negotiations as well was the Minotaur’s language. He couldn’t convey properly about the word “small” because it’s said in a different way in his dialect. And that word is D***head. So Uchimura talked to the Minotaur leader in his dialect to help sort things out.

But I understand they can't bring in every little detail otherwise you get hour long episodes and cost more than most people are willing to pay for it. Hopefully anything that gets left out doesn't turn into something bigger down the road.

Possible, but not a guarantee. Could be they are fighting just because they are a different race/group. Sure it's a trope, be not used too often. The other side might be "bad" but that doesn't mean they are evil. As long as they're not too bad, there's a chance our MC can bring peace to everyone. Of course I think he'll have to bring the whole demon army together first.
@@kevinparker5906 I wouldn't be at all surprised if the conflict was indeed a matter of cultural differences and/or competing for limited resources and/or bad history rather than either group being straight-up evil. In fact, some combination of these or similar causes is the kind of political complexity I'm hoping for. If anything, the resolution the MC's skillset is best suited for would be demons, demihumans, humans (and potentially other entities if any) negotiating some kind of cooperative agreement.
By the looks of it their way of negotiating is yelling screaming and making threats 🤣😂 Wouldn’t be shocked if it’s all one big misunderstanding because if that girl is the one trying to solve things they were in a world of hurt.
The moment I heard the demon lords voice I knew that this anime would be enjoyable. I would accept the demon lords offer in a heartbeat if I was him. I didn’t like the ending but the opening was just weird, I was so confused. I will have to listen to the opening again on episode 2 or if I stumble across it on RUclips.

I knew I was gonna love this series from the pv. I went in with high expectations. I like me a good weak mc isekai, but how bout an mc that stays weak and has no powers? The demon lord blew me away. What an absolutely reasonable and chill guy. Good on him for recognizing that overseas managers are good at negotiating. Instead of outright saying why that is, he goes and gives the mc a test so he can demonstrate it. Then later he explains it's because the mc notices little details others don't. Fantastic series, give me more. I can't wait.
For me, I like almost everything except the solution. I feel that the negotiation was a little flimsy. I was looking for something a little more impressive like the stuff from Trillion Game (I do recommend Trillion Game, btw)
So, I came in with zero expectations. I thought that might be a strange show by the trailer, but I usually give them a try at least. I was actually waiting for that alchemist show and Doctor Detective Sherlock when this popped up today. Anyhow, I feel this guy. Always working his b*tt off, never get any promotion or recognition when fixing things up.. That hit way too close to home for me. I have not gotten isekai'd by a scooter yet, which was admittedly a very funny scene. It's kind of a cool concept when the summoned just has his daily life "skills". So to say, just being normal in another world. And it's kind of interesting how the other three coworkers were immediately opposing the Demon Lord's decision which makes the Demon Lord not the "absolute entity" as in other shows. I'll probably follow this guy's journey... I also want to know if that feisty dragon lady has the hots for our MC or if it is just "respectful flirting".

The main VA has a voice that's hard to listen to and the audio mixing overall is atrocious, but the plot should be interesting enough to suffer though that element.
