all three of my ears enjoyed this, my left ear, my right ear and my final front ear.
I cried when I saw him on the screen of the new Star Trek movie. It was so good to see both Spock and Leonard Nimoy in a movie. He is amazing.
He has this extraordinry voice. He looks very intelligent and you can see he loves his roots.
Thought it was interesting when years later, after growing up on Star Trek episodes, I obtained an Israeli Sign Language book from an Israeli I met online, who is deaf. (We sent each other sign language books from our own country). I noticed their sign language for the word "Priest" was exactly this same handshape and movement as the LLAP handshape Mr. Spock and other Vulcans have used throughout the Star Trek series and movies.
He's such a lovely, genuine man.
Thank you Mr. Leonard Nimoy. Your characterization of Mr. Spock was wonderful, definitive and will only be imitated and never surpassed. And it is recently proved that Star Trek will go on.
Leonard Nimoy has truly lived long and prospered and deservedly so. I love him as the man whose talents brought one of my heroes to life, and into my life since I was 7 in 1970. I'm thrilled that he's playing Spock once more in the new movie coming out next May. His participation is also a sign the movie will be great.

Gotta love Leonard Nimoy! He's still handsome, sexy, and smart. I loved him in the new Start Trek movie. All the Baby Boomers in the audience got all sniffly when he came on the screen.
this guy is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!
Leonard Nimoy is one of my all time favorite actors. Nice interview snippet! Mr. Spock would never have been the same without Nimoy's interpretation.
I'm not a "Trekie", but I appreciate Star Trek so much. I think it's a wonderful show, the films are great and the idea of Trek fosters brother/sisterhood.
Dislikes? Must be Romulans.
I love being directed to videos by Mr. Nimoy.
I love that he remembers so much.
Some time in the 80s or 90s, he was running some kind of Holicost Museum. I saw him speak about it in an interview somewhere. I'd say he's pretty connected.
This man is a true master of acting!!!
Infinite respect for this man ! Tanks for the video
Leonard Nimoy is absolutely brilliant =)
well the original series was before my time too, but as a kid I saw the movies in the cinema. And BBC2 repeated the show in the mid 80s. Great stuff. Fascinating to learn about the salute.
Spock !!! You The Man !!!
He's such an amazing man!
FREAKING LEGEND! i hope u never die mr nimoy
I'm am always amazed at the actors, whether it be Star Trek, TNG, Voyager, or DS9, that they are so greatful to the fans.
No doubt there are lines that they are sick of hearing (such as live long and prosper), and they put up with it because they like their fans.
Nimoy is a class act. he isn't stuck up like Shatner but instead embraced the show, the movies, the fans... Very cool
the lady kirk fell in love with in the city on the edge of forever was played by the beautiful Joan Collins who worked for he salvation army. She died in that episode.
@kraftymomma1979 A lot of the rest of us got sniffly too... even if we weren't alive when TOS originally aired.
One thing you would never hear Spock say........."that idea just might be crazy enough to work."
I love my Jewish Brothers. Such a rich heritage. Mr. Leonard Nimoy Is my number one Brother,
LOVE LONG A PROSPER!
Nimoy is my hero. His In Search Of... show is the reason I make my RUclips videos.
\V/, Live Long and Prosper \V/
Agreed, he was awesome alongside Zach Quinto in his scenes!
BIG respect, lets face it Spock IS Star Trek. The catchphrase fascinating is simply timeless, even in the new movie it is used with such cunning.......
Never watched the show. I am like an alien. I think I am one of a kind. But love Leonard Nimoy singing Ruby, don't take your love to town. Awesome.
Still sharp as a tack he can remember things from 30+ years ago, nice
I want to see Leonard on TBBT. That would be epic.
to be fair, he is remembering a pretty memorable episode for him, in which he introduces a defining characteristic of Vulcans from his own background. from his perspective, it seems like of course he would remember it, it's something he suggested and now people accept this as synonymous with Star Trek. you would not likely forget the circumstances around which you yourself changed the course of history :P
Love him.
Live long and prosper Mr. Nimoy.
i'm taking the easy way and just say have a look at them all, because there are definitely scenes in all of them that illuminate his acting ability and the character of spock to some degree. (but i agree, 2 and 4 are the better choices)
"live long and prosper mr. nimoy" a fan from Italy
Ellison.. is.. amazing.
his voice is kick ass mellow
Peace and long life, Mr. Nimoy...
-from "Scotty"
"Live long and prosper" Leonard ,from a fan in Glasgow,Scotland.....Also waiting to see how good or bad the British actor does in his Scottie impersonation......."Beam me up"........Cheerio......

: D I could listen to him all day!
He is most epic!
excellent memory, wow.
wow never realised Leanord Nemoy actually came up with the entire vulcan salute, this is cool video :)
My grandfather always gives me the Vulcan salute. Every time I see him. haha
@CreativeCanberran: I've heard that he directed a few films here & there as well. ;D
Theodore Sturgeon and Harlan Ellison!
No wonder some of Trek scripts were so good.
The 1930 woman was Joan Collins.
@pureawesomeness2012
No, no, no! The Klingon respect the vulcans for their honor. 11 people are Ferenghi!
@DIANNEELEE the is an alien in every country, Im from Guatemala and I never saw "el chavo del 8" which was and is a very popular show in the latinamerican continent.
Live long Star Trek.
Fascinating!
I like the man, he is great
My right ear enjoyed 1:57 and two seconds after that.
@kraftymomma1979 A lass sitting behind me took in a very loud gasp and said "Oh my GOD!"
It was brilliant.
@ultraJambo you asked the hardest question in the world
@Tacom4ster You can't tell by his yamakah hair?
When was this interview?
I'm pleasantly surprised that Nimoy knows the material so well after so long. I get the impression Shatner would not. Just a hunch.
@ultraJambo shatner? thats the guy who was mistaken for an actor isnt he?
@EPICPCNerds as did mine
Yeah I have to agree with ramsaybaggins, go for Star Trek 2 and Star Trek 4. Although it's worth seeing all of them anyway imo.
Leonard Nimoy is a Handsome Son of a B.
He is Spock. It's is a shame that the Original Series only lasted 3 years. There is so much that was never done with the Character of Spock. The New Film was much better with Mr. Nimoy's Inclusion. Now that he is older the position of Spock as a Vulcan Elder is more neccesary than ever. I look forward to Leonard Nimoy having more to do in Star Trek 12.
Spock is a wonderful role Model for young men. my own son is 22 and he is highly Emotional.... : )
i can do easily on left hand, but can't do it on right. weird :D
His favorite episodes are totally my favorite episodes! *squee*
Hes gonna be the voice actor for Sentinal Prime in TF3 :)
@sgbtexan Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
I'm not sure if anybody already answered your question, but that's my answer. :D
Stay cool Mr Nimsy.
I think Nimoy loves the idea of time travel : )
@ultraJambo so do i whenever they have a contest spock always wins
@creaturebotman you sure got the greeting rght.
Star trek had vision of the future. They used cell phones (communicators) way before anyone even considered these hand held devices that the current generation can't comprehend living without.
If you consider this carefully, then you may comprehend time travel by way of transmitting data (you) as a signal and rearranging it somewhere else in a distant place, much like the transporter room. Far out? Maybe not!
WIth this video in mind as proof, why do some trekkies insist that the correct way to do it is with the thumb against the palm???
That's not going to be a problem with Uhura on board.
whos better nimoy or shatner? i prefer nimoy
Star Trek II and iV =]
I can't do it :( my ring and pinky finger won't come together
lol why would you yell when you see Nimoy?
@TheHayleyandTaylor No kidding?

@jubbles23
If they ever want to kill Sheldon they will have him get a heartattack aftter meeting Nimoy i guess.
Why does he have to charge $60 per autograph to FANS at events that he's alreadt paid to attend?
