    Was looking for more of an electrical engineering look at it, command pins/commands. But this was very interesting, had to watch the whole thing, well done.

    How can you tell if you're dealing with SE/LVD or HVD signaling? Is there a difference in connectors or protocol between SE/LVD and HVD?

    I have a sata to USB cable that uses SCSI. Why is that then?

      If you're using a SATA to USB adapter, the operating system might assign a device name that reflects the adapter itself. This name could potentially include "SCSI" if the adapter identifies itself as a SCSI device (even though it's translating SATA to USB).

      @@itfreetraining thank you, really appreciated your reply. I knew next to nothing about SCSI just noticed that when I connected a internal SSD to said cable to my Xbox/PC it would have SCSI in the device name.
