90s R&B had some meaning in there songs
The best part about the music in the 90s was that you can actually listen to the words and follow the story.
Joe is a MONSTER vocalist
For him not to have a Grammy yet is a shame
Love was different in the 90's because there were less outside influences. You were forced to ACTUALLY spend time with the person you were interested in. There wasn't much Internet, everyone didn't have cell phones, and everyone wasn't man/woman bashing. It was the last generation that relied heavily on true human interaction. Timeles, that's something that will forever be missed. Passion, time, effort, and connection.
Joe Thomas was tha ORIGINAL Mr Steal Your Girl " Joe don't play! If I'm going through major problems with my man and Joe come talking this, YES I'm leaving dude for Joe. I'm saying it now? I don't care who got a problem. #80sbabies
😭😭😭 Shante chill
I was a too young when I first heard this song, but I used to play the radio late at night... One time I recorded it on my cassette tape. This is one of my all time favorite songs. Period. I'm so glad I got to experience this type of music. It was a different feeling in the air for sure.
You're reactions are so cute and funny!! Yes, Joe's voice is like 'buttah' on the bread. He is my favorite living male solo artist (after Luther passed)! I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some Joe. He sang the theme song for the show Power and I loved that too😍😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗🤗
Joe def killed this song!!
Joe recorded the song with Mariah "Thank God I Found You" not Whenever You Call.
Young generation, Yall need to get rid of the cell phone and have face to face conversation and get the digits with a pen and paper bro that's how we played the game baby.
The king of dirty macking. Idk who was worse between him and LL Cool J.
LL Cool J was on that also?
@@MAJreactions Check out the record Hey Lover!
90s r&b. Joe is a legend with a lot of great songs. What happened? The music industry de-emphasized love songs and turned to materialism and "securing the bag."
They need to bring the love vibes back
Joe voice is so beautiful loved him songs
The best music and videos have rain in it. It’s a science. Lol
My 2 Joe suggestions:
"I wanna know" and "I believe"
😂😂 that last part always got me too
Substance, and energy (spirit).
You made a slight confusion. Brian McKnight was the one that did "Whenever You Call" with Mariah Carey. Joe, however, was on Mariah Carey's "Thank God I Found You" (both the original also featuring 98 Degrees & the remix which also features Nas)
Didn't he do a remake of Make It Last Forever with Mariah?
@@monilaninetynine3811 yeah the song where they sampled "Make it last" is the actual remix of "Thank God I Found You". "Thank God I Found You" featured Joe & 98 Degrees. "Thank God I Found You (Make It Last remix)" features Joe & Nas.
it IS like a heated honey bun! Facts!
Your facial expressions said it all. 🤣🤣Keep it up bruh! 👏👏👏

The original mr steal your girl
You’re hilarious 😂😂😂
It wasn't always about love. Sometimes it was just about making the panties drop.
😂 respect Larry
Love was different back then. Men were coming for us hard! they had mac-in down pact, as we used to say! This is how y’all got here. We were stone cold in love, period. And we knew who our baby daddy was with out a doubt, it was only one man! But, a man would steal a good woman away from a lame dude. 😂
Can you react to Mariah Carey’s “I Am Free”, “Heavenly (No Ways Tired)” and “Slipping Away” … i think you’d love all of these Thanks! Love the channel
Bro do "it ain't like that" from Joe on his and then Album
It is extremely common for people to dislike music of generations after their own.
We tend to have a strong connection to the music of our formative years (childhood and teenage years).
When I now listen to some of my favorite albums from my teenage years, I still feel strong emotions, but have to admit that, musically, they weren’t all great. Some of them withstood the test of time, others fall short.
When I listen to current pop music, I do not hear what it means to current teenagers. For them it is the theme music of their life. It defines them. It reminds them of occasions of importance.
Of course, there is still great music being made. But you have to look for it. Radio stations will play what will get most listeners, because listeners bring in advertising companies, which is where most of the money comes from.
Anyway, I find some of 60's and 70's music absolute gold (but that's just my opinion).
Next time, please react to Stevie Wonder and Tom Jones medley live in 1969. Both fantastic singers
But music today is literally bad.
I hear what you're saying, but my mother and grandparents liked the music of my generation on up until about the mid 2000's. The quality dramatically decreased after that except for a select few already established artists. Also, I generally love the music of past generations as well. Most 80's babies are like a bridge between the old and new.
I was born in 97 and i find it hard to really like music from the 2000‘s onwards. idk what it was but 20th century music had something the 21st century really lacks. maybe real passion
there are exeptions of course but then those songs remind me of decades long ago
I love Joe “ Good Girls” and “I Believe In You “

Your guesses of when songs came out always be so wrong lol😂 You don’t even be in the ball park range. You gotta get a sense of timing by the sound of the music. For example, music in the 70’s always has a sound that reminds you of bell bottom pants and Afros, and Disco music, etc. Music in the 80’s had a lot of synthesizer sounds because it was the dawn of the computer age so everybody wanted to put “computer sounds” in their music. Perfect example of 80’s music would be the group Cameo (played at black weddings a lot). The 90’s music have a lot of simple beats that were often sampled. I think your generation calls it the “boom bap” era 😂😂😂. I noticed your generation can’t seem to place music past the 2000’s 😂😂 😂😂😂 But you will eventually be able to tell when a song came out just by the sounds and instrumentation of the music. Nice reaction! Keep up the great work! 🙌🏾
You need to react to Prince. His ballads were ALWAYS a guarantee. Try his tune Shhh and Do Me Baby.
He should react to "Head" the live concert footage 🤣
