Here is my problem : I have 120sec exp. lights, 2sec exp flats, master dark (created from120sec exp. darks- only integrated, without bias subtracted ), master bias, and no "dark flats". In theory I could calibrate it properly because bias could be subtructed from master dark and from lights, then master dark calibrates lights. Master bias could be subtructed from flats and then master flat calibrates lights. But for some reason wbpp want to calibrate flats with 120sec exp master dark (via optimization) instead of using master bias to do it. I think master bias is better to calibrate flats because exp time is nearly the same (2s flat and 1s bias) Or did I miss something? Thanks in advance
I demonstrate this in my example section ruclips.net/video/H2HCu5IdPXE/видео.html around minute 15 (please watch it!). You need to uncheck the "Dark" box in Calibration settings. This tells WBPP... don't use a dark to calibrate the data... and it will use the Bias!! (please confirm I understood you correctly)
Thank you Adam for providing your time and energy to give us this detailed explanation of WBPP2, very much appreciated.
wow Adam! what a great set of videos on WBPP. Well done and thank you
More to go.... but thank you for the encouragement! Much appreciated.
Well done Adam , some of us who can remember Dinosaurs need to have it clear and slow..
Really helpful videos. Did I miss the bit that covered "grouping keywords"?
Not yet... this is a work in progress. Keep in mind..this was released just a few days ago. :)
@@AdamBlock sure no problem. I was just worried I missed it. Thanks again.
