I had the same connectivity issues but didn't realize that it was my internet connection until I had the same issue with my new sprinkler system. My 2.4 network wasn't just a 2.4 network. It had mixed/combo signals (including 5gb). So I contacted my internet service provivder and had them create a 2.4 network that doesn't get mixed speeds. This worked perfectly. The only thing connected to that line is my sprinklers, cameras and a couple items that can only work on a 2.4 network. You can create one yourself by logging into your router but that dedicated 2.4 line also didn't work for me. It's been 2 weeks now and I haven't had any connectivity problems.
i wont buy this brand again…. it worked for 3 months and then started asking for subscription..whicj i didn’t do:….then it stopped!! waisted $200 and i am a pensioner.. so disappointed!! my nephew told me to buy an eufy!!! i didn’t listen!!
This is great and all but the Arlo app does not bring up any other SSID but the main one (Google Home Router) and so you never get the chance or ability to connect it to any of the routers and the routers actually don't even show up. So annoying! I don't know how or why Google sells these on their site when there is little or very lousy support and neither Arlo nor Google help in any way to find an actual resolution to these issues.
I have the Xfinity Wi-Fi gateway all in one and have the same issue with it connecting I went into the gateway and remove the 5 GHz and left only the 2.4 gigahertz and still did not have any luck connecting I'm going to try to reboot it and see if that helps and I'll update you the currently still not working
Yeah, recyling the wifi router might work when you're in a homeowner situation but not possible when using a wireless network provided by a commercial building. My Arlo Q camera has basically become useless in my elderly father's assisted living apartment. The Arlo support agents are pleasant and try to be helpful, but actually unable to resolve anything more complicated than do exactly what the printed instructions already say!
Trying to change the network it runs on, blue light wouldn’t flash. Eventually it starts flashing randomly. Now it won’t connect to anything. Waste of money
Actually I have one at home, one at work, and hotspot on my mobile phone. My brand new Arlo Q camera can't be found, won't connect on any of them! The NetGear VMC30404 device must be junk!

Thank you for the comment, it may help other people with the same problem.

If you have 3 cameras do you have to do this process once and all the cameras work properly?

OK, please let me know if the reboot solved the problem.
Why does net contention turn off and restart for some time during Wi-Fi internet usage?

DO NOT BUY ARLO CAMERAS! BUY BLINK AND THIS 2.4 SHIT IS NOT NEEDED!

But who has many wifis??? Noone
Some people do. I do for example. I explain that you can try just in case you have an extra WiFi.
I think in theory you are supposed to be able to??? I dunno, NONE of my Google Home repeaters show up on my phone tho.
