I’m a Ghanaian and my fondest memory was one evening when I was watching videoclips from one of my TV host. I don’t recall my age then but I know I was below 10. I heard it just once and it became an immediate sensation for me. I didn’t understand the lyrics but went to school the next day shouting Africa just to mimic Lo. I’m an international student in Australia now and when life gets so stressful this is one of my go to. Got bless you Lo…God bless the motherland 😊
